Hello Mr. Frederik Ramm (woodpeck)
As you said, you are one of the managers of OSM; Therefore, a responsible manager should not allow personal and political interests to affect professional responsibility. But unfortunately you failed this test. By abusing your position in OSM and with racist behavior, you faked the international name of the Persian Gulf as "Arabian Gulf". You and the Arab editors can use the name Arabian Gulf, but you are not allowed to change the original name to your liking. The fact that you compromise with some people to falsify and change a geographical fact is a planned mischief and trick.
I have been an active contributor to OSM editing since 2016, and during this time I have played an effective role in editing the map of my country. But now I am leaving OSM in disgust with your racist behavior.

The Persian Gulf is a geographical and historical fact and has been recorded in the world memory with the same name for more than 2000 years.
Referring to the text of all historical international treaties between the countries bordering this water body in the past few centuries, the name of this place has been recorded as equivalent to "Persian Gulf" in different languages.
In the images of geographical maps from hundreds of years ago, many of which were prepared and available by Arabs, Persians, Greeks, Chinese and even Europeans, the name of this water body "Persian Gulf" is recorded.
Also, the name of the "Persian Gulf" is registered in international organizations such as the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), etc. Therefore, any action to forge and change the name of the Persian Gulf is against international regulations and also unethical.

Please remind those with whom you have compromised to use the Arabic equivalent name "Arabian Gulf" of this important point.

With respect

hello
The name of this place has been "Persian Gulf" for thousands of years.
Based on which reference and reliable source have you changed its name to "Arabian Gulf"?
