Nice catch, and edit. Thanks!

Hi, and welcome to OSM. Thanks for the edit! You added the name of the building correctly; I did see that the building already had that address and name on it, so I deleted this node, but keep it up! Thanks again.

Hi, and welcome to OSM! Noticed your changes, thanks for the edits! I did notice you put in the street names with abbreviations; could you change these to spell everything out (Dr -> Drive, Ave->Avenue, SE -> Southeast) please? Easy to not know when new, but that's how the project has decided to map things. Thanks again!

Hi, and welcome to OSM! Thanks for editing the map! I see you requested a review - this addition of neighborhood administrative boundaries goes immediately to a long time debate in many places. In summary, unofficial neighborhood shapes of Seattle do exist which is nice to have in some cases, but as has been discussed before in our community, they're fluid and not official (See https://tinyurl.com/y8s3dzq) so I suggest that points (as you also edited recently) are the preferable way to go and request that this be taken back out. Thanks again!

Hi, welcome to OSM and thanks for the edit! I noticed you attached the fire hydrant tags to the footway node; as fire hydrants aren't technically part of the sidewalk, I separated it and moved it to where it looks like it is in the aerial imagery. If you have questions let me know. Thanks again!

Hi, thanks for the edit! I noticed that the business you added already existed in the map. Mapping as a node (like you did) is often okay, but since the business takes up the whole building (in this case) then please add your details to the tags on the building itself. Let me know if you have questions. Thanks again and welcome to the project!

Accidentally forgot to close one changeset before making an edit in completely different area.

Thanks for the edits! It was great that you didn't just delete the old node. In the iD editor you can select "All Tags" and delete or replace incorrect tags one at a time. I merged your new node with the existing node, and cleaned up some of the tags. Thanks again.

Hi, welcome to OSM! Thanks for the heads up about the closed Tully's. I actually modified your change, putting the node back and instead removing the business-specific tags one at a time. This is possible under "All Tags" in the left-hand panel in iD. Though the shop is closed, its address is probably still valid, and we'd like to keep those around. I've already made the fix, so thanks again and hope to see more contributions!

Hi, welcome to OSM! I see you're doing some work with Field Papers -- that's great, but OSM is meant for mapping permanent features, not temporary attributes like you added in this changeset. Separate tools do exist which you can use to make an map which overlay pushpins at these locations, just please don't add this info to OSM.

Hi, welcome to OSM! Thanks for the edits - I did undo part of your changeset -- I re-added the address for the closed Remedy Tea shop (but removed the business-related tags) in order to preserve address info, since that usually persists between shop closings. In the iD editor, you can click on "All Tags" in the panel, and delete tags one at a time. Thanks again!

Hi, thanks for the edits! One suggestion is the button maker shop just closed but the address still existing? If so, even if vacant, please just remove the individual business tags instead of deleting the entire node (so we don't lose the address info). Thanks!

Hi, thanks for updating the map! Just a couple of notes 1) If a business changes, please just change those tags, instead of deleting the entire node (that way, we don't lose the address info). 2) Do you happen to know the name of the new bar? Thanks again! If you have questions, please feel free to ask.

Thanks for the great edit, lightgeode. I just added the sport=yoga tag myself. Hope to see more edits!

Thanks for the info BBTM! I'd like to add it's really important to just remove the tags specifically related to the business (name, type, website, etc.) rather than the entire node. That way we don't lose address info, which should still be correct. The tags can be found in the "All Tags" section in the iD editor, if you scroll down in the left panel. There they can be deleted one at a time.

Hi Zenthere, thanks for editing the map! We definitely appreciate the additions. I've got a few suggestions, but looks like you're getting started, so keep at it! If you have questions, feel free to ask.

Hi, it looks like you're trying to update your office location, but just changing the address won't move the point in the map. I created a new node with the new address you added, placed it near the correct location, and deleted the old node. Please check the new location and move it if necessary. Hope I got it right!

Hi Michael,
Thanks for moving the bike shop! Useful change. My only suggestion is when deleting points-of-interest to view the tags, and delete the obsolete tags one-by-one (All editing apps, including Go Map!!, let you do this). Otherwise we lose the old empty shop's address point, which should be still there! I already put it back (and moved the opening hours/phone number to the new place). Pls let me know if you have ??s. Thanks again for editing, hope to see more!
