Hi -- welcome to OSM, and thanks for the edit! Good job tracing the building; my only suggestion is to use the "Squaring tool" to make the house corners 90 degrees. To do that, in the editor, select the edge of the building and click on the tool that looks like a box. To practice, the 8 houses just to the south (on Northeast 40th Court) should also all be squared too. Let me know if you have any questions! Thanks again.

Oh, wait, there was already both a node and the building, so you didn't add a duplicate.

Hi, thanks for the edit! Looks like you added a lot of useful details -- the building way was already tagged as a Goodwill (does maps.me support way pois?), so this introduced a duplicate entry. Someone had put in the wrong address though, so I merged the node & bldg to fix it. Thanks again!

Wow! I just went and looked at Friday Harbor since I'm thinking of making a trip here soon, and saw all the buildings you drew recently. That's great! One thing I should ask -- do you know about the building square tool in iD? If you draw a square building close to square in the editor, then select one of the edges, a tool palette pops up. One of the tools has a box on it. If you click the box, the selected building's corners should snap to 90 degrees. (Or you can press the 'S' shortcut). It really helps how the buildings look, and is the preferred way to draw buildings! Thanks again for the edits!

Great. Glad to help. If you want to keep it simple, you can create a new node just for the new POI. If the poi addr node exists, yes you can add to it. But if the poi shares the street # with other pois, but has a unit # (such as suite A) you can also make a new node copy with the same # but add an "addr:unit = A" tag. I would only delete poi nodes whose tags all no longer apply, or is an exact duplicate (no unit #) of another node.

Hi, thanks for the edit, removing the closed restaurant! Just to let you know, deleting the whole node removes the address data as well, which might be still valid (though the restaurant data is obsolete). There is a way to remove tags one by one. I've already put the address back in for that place. BTW, welcome back, I looked at your history and saw you started editing 8 years ago?! That's impressive. Hope to see you continue to edit OSM! Thanks again!

Sorry, should have also said, please let me know if you don't agree with my changes. Thanks again!

Hi, thanks for the OSM edits! It's really great to have them. I went in and changed the Yoga Tree tag to leisure=fitness_centre, and put the former address of the Swingside Cafe back in -- by deleting the entire node, we lose the address as well, which we don't want (unless it's a nonexistent address). In iD, there's an "All Tags" menu in the sidebar which allows you to tag obsolete tags one-at-a-time instead. Hope this helps, and happy mapping!

Hi, and welcome to OpenStreetMap! Thanks for editing the map - just so you know, "name" is really meant to describe permanent objects with names, like "Space Needle", not personal information! Would you mind removing the name tag from this object? Hope to see more edits!

Hi, thanks so much for editing OSM! However, there might be a problem with your editing app -- the things you are adding with maps.me are 1/2 mile from their actual locations! May I suggest you try some edits using Vespucci OSM Editor (on Android) or GoMap!! (on iOS)? Maybe those apps would work better. If you have any questions, please let me know. Keep mapping!

Thanks for the updates! I had put in the originals, but haven't been back lately. I just went in using the ID editor "all tags" feature (http://tinyurl.com/iDAllTags) and removed some now-obsolete tags. It's probably good for a veterinarian to not also be labeled "cuisine=barbecue". :) Hope to see more edits!

HI Max, good to see you're updating the tool stands we talked about! Just one minor thing -- in the future, when checking in your changesets, please remove the hashtags for the HOT tasks we worked on before -- they're sometimes used for analysis, and we don't want to add to their counts with non-HOT edits! :) Chase

Great edits, as usual! Glad to hear about the actual surveying. I'm not sure what was meant about Google Maps Android -- I'm sure you know this (this comment is really for any other editors reading this), but OSM has an agreement to utilize Bing (and some others) imagery, but I don't think we're supposed to utilize other 3rd party maps and imagery (including Google's) without explicit consent. Thanks!

So I went ahead and made a few changes: 1) renamed the duplicate 400 to 300 (no Inrix tag). 2) renamed Suite 400 to just 400 (Inrix tag still there). 3) Took the Inrix name off the building outline, since there are probably other businesses in the other units. 4) I left the combined 100;200 you made, though I would personally avoid using multiple values separated by semicolons very often. I don't think many apps parse for multiple values.

Hi, thanks for the edits! They look pretty good!

I have just one comment: The node now named INRIX used to have addr:unit=300. Now it has addr:unit=Suite 400. This node nearby also has addr:unit=400. (node/3333004051).

It looks like we have two 400s now. Do you happen to know which one should be 300?

Thanks again for editing!

Hi, thanks for the edits in our area! Trails are a great addition to the map!

Forgive me for being doubtful that a couple of your name additions are valid. If they're not, can you please remove them? (Such as "Scratchy Overgrown...", which was "Super Fun Adventure trail" for a day, yesterday)

Also, "Stairs from 12th..." sounds like like something more suited to the "description" tag than the "name" tag.

This has come up before. I prefer no name tags for items with no actual names, others say it's within the Howe Right-Of-Way. I'll ask some others, and may change this back.

If you have questions or comments, please let me know. Thanks!

Thanks for the interest in OSM! I've removed this node, since it appeared to be personal info (OSM is really just intended to store permanent notable items of interest to the general public). I'm sure your work place is significant, though maybe not in the way OSM intends. Please let me know if you have questions!

Thanks for the edit! Do you happen to know what type of place this is, so we can classify it other than "house"?

Great! Thanks for adding this car rental office, I've been past this hotel a thousand times, but didn't know that was in there.

Thanks for making this correction! Please note that OSM's policy is to avoid using third party sources which we don't have explicit permission to use. Was in the area, so verified it.
