Thank you, Aleksander, for your helpful feedback. I will change the name to Great Western Highway Service Road. I agree that, in AUS, some streets have segments with different names. However it is my belief that an error was introduced on the NSW Base Map some time after the 1990's when the Great Western Highway was widened to 4 lanes through Warrimoo, I base this by referring to the BMCC Interactive Property Search Map. It is my understanding that the Blue Mountains City Council is the principal authority in NSW on street names within its jurisdiction. This map only refers to Great Western Highway Service Rd for the addresses 315 to 362 Great Western Highway, Warrimoo. This is also seen on the street view imagery on Google Maps which shows that the road west of the railway and highway underpass is Great Western Highway Service Road. I have sent feedback seeking clarification as to why the section of road on the map for the addresses 315 to 362 Great Western Highway, Warrimoo is not shown as Great Western Highway Service Road to the dataset manager of NSW Base Map and am waiting for a response.
