Be careful when clicking around in RapiD. You somehow added a node to way/1300758334 which caused it to cross itself, breaking the Lake Hartwell relation (142716). You can see it visualized here: https://pewu.github.io/osm-history/#/way/1300758334

I have fixed it in changeset #161077773

Interesting, it looks like they applied to move in 2022. I had researched the location a year ago (changeset/146578130) to resolve a longstanding osm note on the location, and found the location to still be on campus.

Are able to add the station info back to the tower, or do we not know which tower it is?

Why did you delete node/357805725? As far as I am aware that's the correct location of the broadcast.

Can you check that way/1318475842 is mapped correctly? I'm not sure what highway=stairway means, and why it's on level -2

IUCN class 6 is just my best estimate for how the land is protected. If Hoosier NF has an officially listed classification I couldn't find it when this change was made.

Those bridges were tagged destroyed in changeset/157376316, I only updated them to match other damage tagging.

Do you have a dataset of the cemetery names you are using? Just curious where they're coming from

Hi jbl0, and welcome to OpenStreetMap! Thanks for helping to update the area post-Helene; certainly a lot has changed.

A few notes for these changes:
- the 'name' tag is used for waterways that have actual names, not just descriptive data. Thus the East Fork New River has a name, but tributaries (there are many) of it are not named 'Tributary of ...'
- The 'tunnel=flooded' tag is used for actual tunnels which carry water. For mapping flood damage from events, we can use the 'damage' or 'hazard' tags.
- The boundary you adjusted is not an actual property boundary, but just an approximation of the woods behind the houses. OSM does not map legal property boundaries or parcels; locally that data are managed by the Watauga County GIS office. So unless the property owner has felled numerous trees to make room for the well house, this data should stay.

I've updated the data to be in line with correct tagging, but thank you for fixing the stream! A lot of waterways have shifted course since the flooding. You can see my changes at changeset/157984492

Well if all public streets are residential roads, then I suppose Linney St can be a residential road.

I was parked on Linney St yesterday. The only thing accessible from it is the PO. I'm not sure what the rest of that means; highway=service does not require private access.

Why did you change way/18905145 to residential? It is actually literally a service road, providing one lane of traffic solely for the post office.

Why did you delete the construction area, or is it opened? It was still an active construction site when I drove past a couple days ago.

This change seems to be entirely in contradiction to the goal of that MR challenge. These roads are exclusively for golf carts.

Hi,
Please use more descriptive changesets besides "Tracing" for everything. It's not possible to determine what you're actually editing without digging into every single changeset.

Thanks.

Can you please respond to any these comments? This still appears to be a large undiscussed import, and I'm seeing an increase in edits from your app using the newly-invented tag.

Also please respond to the concerns about your app I mentioned on changeset/149276901

Surely we have something newer than 2012? Over a decade old?

Oh wait a lil web search has revealed https://data-brunsco.opendata.arcgis.com/datasets/cf2511356239494eb64f89d9aadc8ddc_0/about

This import also does not seem to follow any of the requires import guidelines osm.wiki/Import/Guidelines
