I've been listening to a lot of live video recordings of Flight of the Conchords lately when I read that an OSM server is named Albi. Is Albi, the OSM server, named after Albi the racist dragon?

Yes. Albi is named after the (not any more) racist dragon from Flight of the Conchords. The names are just in jest.
