"La cartopartie du 17 janvier permettra d’améliorer la carte de Dessalines, et sera complétée par un travail avec les partenaires locaux."

Searching for named objects with the timestamp 2017-12-01/ reveals nothing related to Project #4025. So in what way were the local partners involved?

120624604 over 3 years ago

Dessalines probably project 4025?
I can't find no evidence of local involvement, if you like, I can list some issues later

"complete and correct the first mapping" - f- from my experience with humanitarian mapping, this will never happen. If possible, have your local friends take and share some photos of the situation on the ground.

How wide do you estimate this ways are?
Is there a car visible nearby?
Are there any tracks of four-wheeled vehicles visible?
Is there any infrastructure for cars nearby?
Would you expect locals to be able to afford a car or maintain usable roads?

Doesn't this look like a narrow, steep shortcut for pedestrians and maybe donkeys?
You might also want to enable opencyclemap as a background layer. This would provide additional terrain information.

You ignore our wiki, don't you?

Hello,
this edit has gone completely wrong
Please remove the building tag from all objects you have touched here
Use your own brain instead of AI

review_requested=yes

In Josm
go to the "Edit" tab and click "Search".

Insert as search string:
building=yes area size:-15

At least this output is somewhat questionable.
Some of your buildings are smaller than 3m².
This is more or less impossible

Hello,
in most cases maxar is more up-to-date than bing. The river is already drawn. Please refine its course instead of drawing a new waterway. What you identified as a bridge looks more like a ford. According to maxar, the ford has now moved upstream a bit.

how on earth can anyone choose Bing as the default background layer for these projects?

Hi Letwin,
thanks for your reply. Lets try it in a different way. First thing you have to do as a remote mapper is to determine the most recent imagery. In ID click on the background settings and look for new buildings, finished construction work or similar in the available layers.
At the moment maxar seems to be the best choice.
Compare the existing mapping with the background. If necessary adjust the imagery offset. Happy mapping! Do as little guessing as possible. Check the wiki if you are unsure about the correct tagging. Before uploading, try to fix reported problems.
Apply your local knowledge (Names, social facilities, hospitals businesses ...).

What has to be fixed with your recent uploads?

1. as commented, non exiting buildings

2. buildings not rectangular

3. wrong tagged roads drawn over existing ones

4. natural wood on a node

No buildings, no supermarked, but parking cars. Where is your local knowledge? Your mapping looks more like vandalism to me!

114472770 almost 4 years ago

Most of these buildings are quite small.
Some are less than 5 m² in size.
To me, that also seems a bit suspicious.

Vor einiger Zeit hatte ich mich auch schon mal daran probiert. Allerdings ist mir JOSM dabei mehrmals eingefroren.
