Hi, the 100 speed limit is probably the summer time one, right?

OpenStreetMap is not about changing values back-and-forth. Many applications also work offline.

I'd recommend adding the summer speed limit as a separate tag like
maxspeed:conditional=110 @ (Apr 1-Oct 31)
and having the usual maxspeed as
maxspeed=90

I don't know what the dates should be exactly, but they should be taken conservatively. Better to show lower speed limit than a higher one.

I'm not sure that tram tracks need a name and if the extent of track to which it applies isn't just related to construction stage and afterwards will be forgotten.

Personally I prefer natural=wood as it's better supported by data consumers. Last time I checked landcover received a lot criticism and I'm not sure the whole community is ready to accept it.

It won't hurt if booth tagging schemes would be on the same polygon.

I've removed this campsite and "playground" feature near the tunnel under train tracks.

I've also removed a name from a dumpster and fixed bridge ruins' name.

If you plan to contribute to OSM, check out the wiki osm.wiki/Beginners'_guide

Please don't add unverifiable stuff, don't add things already mapped, like that tunnel. Don't add names to places which aren't officially named and keep the main name in a local language.

Hi, please stop. You are editing map for everyone, not just yourself. I'll remove your edits.

Hi, good work.
"gravel" roads in Estonia are usually not surface=gravel, but surface=compacted.

See pictures at the bottom
surface=gravel

change it to motor_vehicle=private if it's for vehicles only

155364539 over 1 year ago

Hi, you've made a service way near the river access=private. This forbids pedestrian and bicycle routing there which I think was not your intention.

Hi and welcome! This is not really a skatepark, it's a pump track

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pump_track

It's already added. This point can be removed.

It's correct though that you've removed the name. If it a skatepark needed here, we shouldn't add description and types of features into names.

About your other edit with a water tap, it's already added too and with better tagging as drinking water, not just unknown tap with unknown water quality. It's added 8 days ago, so you probably can't see it in OrganicMaps. So your water tap can be removed too.

Hi, thank you for you edit, but please, don't add names to places which have no name. Name is not for a description of what it is. Toilets usually don't have any names :)

Hi,
maybe I'll take a look at some point, need to check the sign.

But if the comment is correct, then the "best practice" is really hard to come up with.

I guess
motor_vehicle=private
and maybe
motor_vehicle:conditional=yes @ delivery

But I don't know about delivery. We don't have such thing as a "service transport" in our law and it may be hard to interpret if it means only street cleaning and maintenance, or cars for businesses there and if it includes things like Bolt Food.

Maybe I'll ask transport department after I take a look at the sign.

But anyway, even if Bolt Food is allowed, then
motor_vehicle:conditional=yes @ delivery
is quite a corner case and may not be recognized by whatever routing you are using.

Also, there might be a bollard from Kopli side, which should be added then, needs checking.

Hi!
You should connect new paths to the footway. This allows users to see that they can actually go there and routing software to plot a route through them.

Adding bicycle=yes and foot=yes is not required, it's implied by default for a path.

155032488 over 1 year ago

Hi, bicycle and horse tags you've added are LEGAL restrictions. If there is no road sign, then consider using
mtb:scale=*

to mark path as hard to traverse on bicycle.

managed to do it in the end. reverted.

Somehow OSM OAuth broke down for me and I won't be available in the next three weeks. Hopefully won't forget about this.

154004782 over 1 year ago

The user edits these things in different countries and clearly doesn't know anything about how locals call it. Just mechanical translation which would only confuse end users. I'll revert this changeset.

Hi,

1) opening hours follows a specific syntax

opening_hours=*

you can validate it here

https://openingh.openstreetmap.de/evaluation_tool/?setLng=en

in this case the correct value is "May-Jun"

2)
description=Torn
leisure=park
name=Jaapani lillevaatlusplatvorm

this polygon is really strange. Viewing platform is probably not a park and it shouldn't duplicate the tower node. I suggest you delete it and leave tower

3)
tower:construction=puit
Most tag values should be in English, unless it's about names or descriptions. This is also more like a material, not a type of construction.

153872864 over 1 year ago

Hi, English description already exists under description:en tag. Removed it from the main description.

153731700 over 1 year ago

I don't really understand why would you change https to http

153586909 over 1 year ago

Hi, please take note of tags already existing on the way.
110 km/h speed limit is already mapped for the summer. In OSM we try not to change things back-and-forth as they change in the real world and instead use conditional restrictions and seasonal tag. Not only it allows not to map reoccurring changes all the time, but also allows offline maps to function.
