Hi, the main name in Estonia should be in Estonian. I think that this sidewalk shouldn't be actually mapped as a platform, since there are separate "Estonia" platforms as nodes.

Hi, where did you get Rulli-Jänese name? In any case, caps shouldn't be used.

And another one

Marienberg - Maarjamäe and Maart - Maardu

If you read about history of these places then these names come up, but not really sure anyone could easily find them by that name alone today.

Thanks! BTW, it looks like this user has added quite a few old german named @Hardi%20H%C3%B5imoja/history

Not sure, it's really hard to gather people, including myself. Maybe just post your questions/suggestions on osm community forum?

Hi, what kind of material is wood_pärnu_tn_18 ?

128068755 over 2 years ago

Hi,
I think it's better to use bin=yes
bin=*

There is also a practice of having one feature per element, by making the bin a "property" of street_light we circumvent it.
osm.wiki/One_feature,_one_OSM_element

Alternative would be to map them as separate nodes, but they would be too close and there are often bins on 2 sides of the street lamp.

I wonder if festival grounds actually need a separate landuse when it's located on landuse=village_green.

Hi, parking garage entrances should be tagged as amenity=parking_entrance
and not as parking. Parking garage can be tagged on a separate node or area.

Hi, parking lots are ignored by routers. The new bridge is not connected from the West to the road network and apps used for bicycle and pedestrian routing won't use it. Please connect it to the other roads.

Gravel roads as defined by OSM are rare in Estonia, this is probably a compacted road surface=compacted

137744306 over 2 years ago

Hi, just a reminder that not every land owner will care about this. Especially if it's pedestrians or cyclists.

134471472 over 2 years ago

another kind of connectivity error, this should connect with the road.

Hi, there is an error present in your edits around here, highway intersections and highway intersections with waterways don't have a common node.

It's easy to see here
https://keepright.at/report_map.php?zoom=14&lat=48.20808&lon=16.37221

When highways intersect they should always have a node at intersection and for waterways you have to see if the water you should check if you should add a tunnel for a waterway.

accidentally broke the link, fixed:
surface=gravel

137618724 over 2 years ago

Thanks for the video!
This is a compacted road. Some loose gravel on top of it, but probably bikeble without the bike trailer?

See example photos here
osm.wiki/Tag:surface%253Dgravel
Gravel roads have loose rocks which are impossible to ride on with narrow slick tires and challenging with wide tires. (now that I think of it's funny that gravel bikes won't be able to ride comfortably on what OSM considers gravel)

I've also added smoothness=bad.

Hi, this name is already defined as a part of address
addr:housename
all level 6 address components from Maa-amet go there. Name should not be used for addresses.

137618724 over 2 years ago

Hi, since you are a new mapper, make sure you aren't confusing compacted and gravel surfaces. Gravel is loose rocks, in Estonia compacted roads are more common with SOME loose rocks, but most of the surface being pressed though still not very flat.

But it may be a gravel road, writing just in case.
