Flickr is how I learned about Open Street Map. They use OSM data for their maps. Places that haven’t been worked on can only be found via coordinates. It’s frustrating.

There’s a Mastodon account on https://en.osm.town , UnmappedSmallTownUSA, that regularly posts similar small cities, towns, and hamlets in the United States that could use some mapping.
