I tend to, no, I plainly disagree very much about this, as the bus-lane is very much a separate object that is not supposed to be accessed by anything other than buses and having a bus-stop on the main road is ridiculous! But if the "powers that be" are of another opinion, I will just walk away.

If the law isn't maintained it stops being a law. I have been walking on motorways, or rather the emergency lane of motorways, in Lithuania for more than 20 years, I've seen people riding bikes on the emergency lane. Just yesterday a shovel incapable of going faster than 30 or so km per hour was riding on the emergency lane, with no roadworks before of after it for I don't know how many kilometres.
I've been seen by the police dozens of times, and on three occasions they even took me a few kilometres further to petrol stations, the same ones I was walking to.
