There is a new version on the wiki page that handles two more Mapillary url variants.

Bookmarklet OSM <--> Mapillary to rapidly switch between the two

Yesterday I did not know what a bookmarklet was, and today I cannot live without. I have the impression that Mapillary needs some time open, before it can switch to OSM.

On the other hand I find it sad that gibberisch as java and python have conquered the world. BASIC was really democratic, for the common man.

Too many Idiot-Mappers in Ecuador

I know a maverick, who continues his doings even though 95 % of the mappers disagree. We should have a way to vote, because this 95 % is just a guess.

U hebt geluk. Uw gebied is al redelijk door Mapillary gedekt. U moet dus niet veel meer buiten komen.

Too many Idiot-Mappers in Ecuador

Even bright mappers sometimes may behave as idiots.

I was out.

And he advised you to start mapping ?

Work on some notes!

“An easy to solve bug, I suppose.”

No, it is a feature.

Work on some notes!

That teester could motivate me to start solving notes again. I was dissapointed in the lack of active support of mappers in combatting a silly notes bombardment in my region by a foreigner.

In teeser, when I click on “commented”, nothing happens. An easy to solve bug, I suppose.

Towards Creating General Melchett's Map

I don’t know if I am on topic, but the famous Manneken Pis statue in Brussels is obscured by a chocolate shop.

How do volunteer mappers use crowdsourced Mapillary street level images to enrich OpenStreetMap?

Instead of sowing their notes all over the place, some people would be useful if they followed my mapillary sequences and mapped according. I make very good sequences these days.

How do volunteer mappers use crowdsourced Mapillary street level images to enrich OpenStreetMap?

I almost always map with my mapillary pictures. I use the ID or JOSM extensions only for paths or as a last resort. I seldom do paths.

Brussels drinking water fountain revival.

With ornamental DRINKING water fountains in Brussels, I mean the 19th century metal objects with cast figurines, serving as tourist attraction. Apart from amusing the tourists, they have only disadvantages.

How would you map this?

And what is the penalty for passing a full white line ? :) https://www.openstreetcam.org/details/19094/841

First Gedling Water Pump Mapped

I also take a picture of the flow rate. Many water taps are just ornamental or broke. The stateofrepair tag is really important.
If possible I take a picture if it is drinkable or not. https://www.mapillary.com/app/?lat=51.129578928499086&lng=4.578338242212226&z=17&pKey=_Ad5ZPZGWyTeDwCxyXbMBA&focus=photo&x=0.4823305964522697&y=0.3862365065007829&zoom=0

What's that?

Or they may think that a weir is a bridge. Some people think that everything over a waterway is a bridge. They should place a note instead.

Overpass queries I should turn into maproulette challenges

Better than a notes bombardment.

Uploaded three tracks , my first ever , please let me know what could have been done better

I suppose the Lumia has GPS and so you can make geotagged photos. Then you can manually upload them to Mapillary. That is more cumbersome but has the advantage that you can improve the GPS position of the photos easily before uploading.
