| Uploaded three tracks , my first ever , please let me know what could have been done better | I suppose the Lumia has GPS and so you can make geotagged photos. Then you can manually upload them to Mapillary. That is more cumbersome but has the advantage that you can improve the GPS position of the photos easily before uploading. |

| Uploaded three tracks , my first ever , please let me know what could have been done better | Nice work. It is very polite of you to present yourself. You just missed a mapper’s meeting in Antwerp. https://www.meetup.com/OpenStreetMap-Belgium/events/237045116/ Starting with notes is good. Photographing for notes with Mapillary is better. That way I don’t have to come and take photos and an experienced mapper can map from home. And you can learn how they do it. It took long before I realised that I could look at similar objects and copy their tagging. |

| Mapillarising Brazil | There is mucht light in Brazil from above. It must be difficult to make bad pictures there. |
| The New Me | A defibrillator with just one tag even when correct is a dangerous thing. A drinking water fountain that does not work without the appropriate tag is an annoying thing. |
| Removing phone booths in Belgium | I just did it for Mechelen, with Mapillary pictures. It would have been so much easier if the mappers had made pictures of the public phones. But even now not everyone agrees that pictures are important for even more reasons than to be able to delete. |
| An MPG unearthed on Welbeck Avenue | Sometimes we take a picture of an infraction without knowing it. Here the rubbish bin should have been closed. I have been called a sexual pervert and I do not comment on that. |
| Drinking water fountains in Brussels | mapillary=* and the discussion osm.wiki/Talk:Key:mapillary No one on the wiki supports my opinion. Just use it one hundred times, and you will agree with me. |
| Drinking water fountains in Brussels | Looking at the Mapillary tag, I conclude that there are no smartphones in Madrid yet :). Do not use that tag as I did, do not substring it. The people on the wiki are wrong. |
| Drinking water fountains in Brussels | Use images. Have a look at my work in Brussels. There are not enough tags to describe them well in Brussels. Maybe in Madrid they are all the same ? |
| Data and community in the Belgian regions | I prefer to see people taking photographs than people mapping without proof. |
| Mapillary | Seeing is believing. So I have an overpass query of all the amenities I still have to photograph. Because some people, even many people made a mess of it. Spherical pictures are really ideal to place the nodes on the map. I even make nothing without proper photographic evidence ready to show. So I can afford to make mistakes and my work can be checked immediately. I just don’t see the reason why to substring the url. It is more work in making and in using. I don’t do it. |
| How we apply map feedback | So, in short = Mapbox and others like me do work for people who comment but who do not give proof nor take a picture. |
| Data and community in the Belgian regions | Well, I hope I waked them up :) And probably it will, because Flanders is too ugly to take pictures from :( |
| Data and community in the Belgian regions | All right, but all that is old technology. If you look at cutting edge technology, you will see that Flanders is much more advanced. http://www.mapillary.com/map/search/50.5421541479962/4.711973447947685/7.45194108308305 |

| A Mapper in the Spotlight: Dave Swarthout (USA/Thailand) | Pictures from Thailand : https://www.mapillary.com/map/im/OhfTuZkADg1Vvmc53gmeOQ/photo They drive left ! |
| Mapillary on the road | Do not forget the most important device/app = a dashcam. |
| Mapillary on the road | I use the Google Maps spoken navigation. But I don’t know how to use it with waypoints. Maybe with an email to myself. You used a 2 seconds interval. So you missed some connections between pictures. And in the city you must have missed traffic signs. The smartphones have only a 50 ? degrees angle of view. The Samsung S5 allows for 128 G SD. That is the one problem I do not have. |

| First Missing Maps in NL and Mapillary | Pictures of the Grote Markt in Brussels are allready in Mapillary. But I’ll try to do better. |
| First Missing Maps in NL and Mapillary | It’s a pitty that we returned in the dark and did not film our emergency stop (nearly a fatal crash) on the E19 in Rumst. A little problem with Mapillary is that the filmer does not have proof of an accident as with a dashcam. Today I used Mapillary and Mozilla Stumbler together. Tomorrow I’ll take pictures of the Grote Markt in Brussels. Also a première. |
