Hi Greg, thanks for the super quick response! Yah, unfortunately the standard OSM style doesn't render visibility any differently. In this case it was especially confusing because there is a similarly hidden but much more established trail nearby to a climbing spot that was not mapped.
We tried from the bottom: @philipmolloy/traces/5258705
Good luck on the search!

I tried to follow way/871887391 today and could not find it. I recommend removing it.

General consensus was to just attach land cover/use to other land cover/use. And detach where possible. I think a lot of folks attached them when they started mapping. Personally I'd like to go further and not have these massive landuse=forest areas with a cut out for roads. https://app.slack.com/client/T029HV94T/C3LJ03BCY

Haha, totally agree. Did you see the conversation on Slack a little while back?

Thanks for adding a few trails around Boston Lot! It would be great if you could add a more descriptive title for your changes in the future

Nice, thanks for making some improvements in the area! I was just curious because large parts of Canada appear to have been done programmatically. I never looked into it, but a quick indicates that they are imported from a Canadian resource known as CanVec.

Hi aweech, Just noticed this change as I'm mapping relation/12457559 and relation/12441442. Did you manually create this wooded area? Or using some sort of program to generate it?

Yah, I know what you mean. I'll be sure to ask in Slack before I make any similar changes.

Ah cool! Should I remove the color from the name (and especially in this case where I didn't create the name)? I'm going to be up in Rumford tomorrow so will be able to check it out in person.
