There seems to be something odd about the gpx-file-uploading-program...
It just says "Bad file descriptor. blah blah blah"
I even tried uploading an old gpx-file, which I know is correct cause I've uploaded it before (!), and I still got that "Bad file descriptor..."
It's tiring...

Thanks, that's not only me with this problem. So I'll wait a while (perhaps this weekend) an will try it later again.

I had the same problem yesterday. I just renamed my file's name (shorten it, took the underscores("_") off), reloaded it and it went through without problem (maybe the renaming of the GPX has nothing to do with the problem though, I didn't touch the content of the file).

I am having the same problem today as well. If you are quick you can still make a way based on your trace by using the edit feature of Potlatch before the system rejects the upload. I have just done that with one trace. Let's hope someone is working on this bug.

I've been having the same problem as well. Talk:Upload had someone that had some success converting line returns from unix to Windows. I just tried that with mine and instead of a Bad File Descriptor error, I now got a Too Many Open Files error. Sounds like something is borked on the server.

Yeh, this is the standard link to one (1) problem. Too many files open points in a better direction: stack overflow, file system problems, ...
I think it will become better with the time, no chance for us (people from the outside).

and here we are a month later, and it has just started doing the same thing again... had a pile of successful uploads last night, but tonight they just choked it.
