Some of the deleted cliffs were the headwalls of cirques, some were other cliffs. Most of them have a glacial origin and are found this paper: https://www.researchgate.net/publication/223612190_Late_Pleistocene_Glaciation_of_the_Kosciuszko_Massif_Snowy_Mountains_Australia

Let's delete everything not in the Base map.
The wetlands are there believe me or not. What do you think from which source the rivers and streams receive their water after the snowmelt?
Anyway, I'm not in the mood for an editwar. Guard your spot and continue to distribute other mappers. I will not make any changes in this region anymore.

I can say it and I can see it. Please look at the pictures yourself.
I asume the LPI Base Map simply does not have the resolution to represent this. There is probably a maximum in the mesh size of objects. I know that myself from making topographic maps because that's my job. Topographic maps are made from imagery, simply because simply because everything else, outside of cities, would be too time-consuming.
The Base Map lacks many things (such as streams, lakes, ponds) that exist but are not listed. Or do you think the base map is perfect?

The area is very different. Have a look at the imagery and the DEM.
Here we have a rocky slope, the relation I have tagged as wetland is in a swampy plain.

Hi! I have never been there - its just remote sensing.
I'm quite sure this is wetland. The area is flat, fed by several meandering creeks and is at least covered by numerous ponds.

I will try that Editor some time. At the Moment I'm happy with id, but you are right, more complex things are getting very difficult.
The relation with the shared segments is nearly impossible to fix with id.

Hi, the relation is now closed :-).

Thank you very much!

No change - this is a terrible and visible error...

72039421 over 6 years ago

And translated...
Above all, I try to improve the details.
Everything above srub will become tundra. The donuts through rocks and boulders I will first save. Like, for example, around the Ramshead Range where I'm already done. I will now work my way north to the Schlink Pass where I will close the destroyed tundra polygon. I probably will not be able to manage the entire Snowy Mountains.
But good, you have to see the map as a whole and I think the map is already better than before.
So, now, where are all the trees gone? Was that me?

72039421 over 6 years ago

I understand. How can I close the Polygon again?

72038826 over 6 years ago

Ah Ok.
I'm sorry.
The previous Tundra surface was in many cases in the way. I try to first determine the forest boundary better. Everything above the forest should become Tundra area.

72039421 over 6 years ago

Sorry, I'm new to the editor.
Why are they required?
In most cases, I have only changed the existing land cover polygons. The relations should not be changed.

For the treeline is try to use more than the LPI Imagery. Due to forest fires, the border is not always clear.

I hope I improve the card more than destroying it...

72038826 over 6 years ago

I know. Both are using the same edge in some places - I deleted some. I think this is and was the problem.

72038826 over 6 years ago

I fixed it visually.
In my opinion the tundra landcover is wrong in most places. I will replace the landcover later when I finished the treecovered area.
