|
| 55933356 | almost 8 years ago | difatti, ho spostato alcuni nodi senza modificare sostanzialmente nulla.
In OsmAnd è tutto ok (ho i live update). |
| 55153819 | almost 8 years ago | Ciao,
Ciao

Thank you for your comments. I don't know exactly what activities are done in that location. Let me try to explain. I mapped a lot in OSM, using trusted sources (GPS tracks, personal knowledge, aerial maps, user's notes...). Every time, I made a critical analysis about the quality of informations I'm going to process. Some sources are prevalent over others, but we cannot use general rules. Is a GPS track ever better than an aerial image? What's now? Is Wikileaks a trustable source for geographical data or not? In my opinion it is trustable, until someone (me, you or anyone else) could not affirm that its informations are wrong, or incorrectly georeferenced. At the moment, I can't affirm, with geographical sources in my availability, that WikiLeaks made some mistakes. Can you? Can you affirm, with other more trustable source, in that location there is not a CIA office operating cyber attacks? OK, no problem. Please revert my changeset by yourself, because You are the source of this (more trustable) information, I haven't anymore else. Can you affirm, with some other trustable source, that CIA office is somewhere else? Please move it. But, please, don't operate without (more trustable) sources, or because some prejudice ("...speculations...”), or because personal opinions (could be a secret office located in a cemetery? No? For sure?) (In Google maps there is a car rental in same position). OpenStreetMap is collecting georeferenced informations by trustable (and licensed with compatible) sources. Anyone can contribute. Sorry for bad english.

| 41453004 | over 9 years ago | Hi,
My only edit to coastline was about this node:
that's very far away from Fano-Pesaro coastline.
However, it's a very simple edit and if this could be useful, I could revert it ASAP. I made edit with Vespucci for Android, is the last version available in Play Store. However, thank you again. |
