NCN550 appears to continue to Caldon Canal towpath

NCN559 goes from Denford to Meerbrook - see Sustrans website mapping. It leaves the Caldon Canal towpath at Denfrod (by the Hollybush) then goes on Denford Road to the Leek branch of the Caldon canal and continues to Barnfields Road in Leek.

NCN 550 is now continuous between Stoke (Etruria Junction) and NCN 549 at Waterhouse - see Sustrans website map). It follows the Caldon canal improved towpath to Station Road Cheddleton and then goes on road via Apesford Road/Belmont Road/Ipstones High Street/Park Lane etc.
