Hi
Welcome to the osm.
You can square up the buildings using mouse right-click plus the spuare icon. It sets all angles to 90 degrees. Tks

I shifted it to the adjacent building and leave it to you to correct the location. Tks

Hi, you need to add your business details to the physical building it occupies instead of the middle of a roadway.

This area appears to be a tree covered area on satellite imagery. Have the trees being cleared from the site you have marked?

Thanks, I'll leave it to you to add the northern ways. Looks a surface and an underground level on imagery.

Hi
it is not clear to me how you can exit from the carpark off Rusden Street if the only mapped way into it is one-way. Do you need to add another way at the other end to exit the carpark?

now shifted off footway

60757826 over 7 years ago

Hi
You have placed your business details on the footway. It is usual to place those over the building you operate your business from.
I will check at a later date and delete if unchanged as I am unable to locate over correct building.
You should also add a tag to indicate what you are mapping... maybe shop=beauty or office=company ??

fixed

You are editing a public map. I will revert the private info soon.

Your edit is a bit confusing to me.
The previous mapper named Tolls Lane
with "source:name sign at Carnarvon Highway"
You have deleted 'Tolls Lane' but left the source tag untouched.
Your changeset says 'Addition of Basin Rd' but you have not added that to the road that you deleted 'Tolls Lane' from.
If you have the correct name to add, can you do that and alter the source info for the name if necessary.
Tks

Hi
This area appears to be conserved for its natural value.
Landuse=forest is for land that is used for forestry not conservation presevation.
Perhaps natural=wood would be a more suitable tag. I am not local to the and have only used the internet for my information of Roachdale Reserve

60204602 over 7 years ago

all fixed, but you may like to check. I have assumed you occupy all of the building.
House number and unit number are confusing in industrial areas and either may be correct depending how the area is addressed I guess.

60197022 over 7 years ago

buildings redone, but satellite imagery is fairly unclear.

60204602 over 7 years ago

You have forgotten to add a tag to tell us what you are mapping in addition to the name and address details....maybe office=company ?
You have omitted the addr=housenumber but have entered the unit number.
The opening hours format is incorrect- see: opening_hours=*#Examples

note that you edit will likely be reverted unless it is made more suitable

Hi
welcome to the OpenStreetMap.
Just noticed you edits and offering some advice for a beginner.
The building tag is used to mark the outline of individual buildings only.
A retail boundary that includes all the retail land can be tagged as landuse=retail, the car parks should be outlined and tagged with amenity=parking.
You have mistakenly drawn a building=retail over multiple individual buildings, park of the parking area and a service lane.
There should be good examples of mapping in your local area.
Thanks, and keep on mapping.

Hi
landuse=forest is normally applied to land that is used for forestry operations. If this is a natural preserve a more suitable tag would be natural=wood

You will need to re-map the opening hours using the correct syntax.
opening_hours=*#Examples
