What does the note tag you added refer to and what does it mean?

corr...should have read...
'I reverted this due to the unintended damage to parts of map. '

Hi
I reverted this to unintended damage to parts of map. Can you re-enter your business details with out shifting roadways, etc. Also add a primary tag such as office=company or other suitable tag to show what you are entering.

Yes, it is easiest to map from satellite imagery and probably the only way to map many roads but it does result in an unfortunate lack of fine detail until a local survey is done to fully define the access, etc. I expect that most users of the OSM would assume that many of the country roads, especially in remote areas may not be publically accessable or just lead to farming residences. I fully understand that some have scant regard to genuine private property signage and is annoying to many property owners.

Sorry, my mistake - bit hard to see on a phone screen I am using.
I see you have not deleted anything, just added a few tags, some of which are probably unnecessary I suggest.

62188817 over 7 years ago

It is not expected that you delete others mappers work.
If the road is private you just need to add an extra tag access=private and the road will rendered differently indicating it is a private road and none of the routing engines will route vehicles along it.

What is the reason for deleting so many items from the map? Are those items no longer present?
Is this your first mapping attempt and you were not aware it is a public map?
I can revert your changes if you think that would be best.

You will see the ‘hand of god’ reference in this article
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diego_Maradona

I quite like the term being used in the comments and see as appropriate to his username as long as it also has a brief description of the changeset changes.

Hi Joel
I expect you are right. There was a lot of work being carried out in the area when I was last there and that was quite a while ago. Feel free to update to the current situation as I don’t expect to be in the area in the near future. Thanks.

Feel free to delete them as I don’t mind you reverting spam.

no response - deleted.

Your edits to the map do not appear to be reflected by the satellite imagery. Do the items you added exist in real life. This is a public map.

I deleted Sandra and assume Sleepy Rancoon is ok to stay.

This is a public map.
Is ‘Sandra’ suitable?

Jimboomba is already tagged as place=town.
Contact fb marketplace if wrong and fix their site as the OSM is tagged correctly. I deleted your untagged node next to correctly tagged one.

You need to select the building/s first.
In Josm there is a preset called ‘orthagonise’ which does the same.
