I visited area and re-mapped most of the no access area to a construction area.
The area around the cricket oval is nearing completion and expect it to be open soon.

Yes, I have decided that it would be best to reinstate the buildings.
It seems like just an error in judgement by the validator or as you say a mismatch with higher resolution imagery.

you seem to have deleted two pitch boundaries and another shelter and marked a new polygon tagged "Gym=yes" which sits over other buildings seen in satellite imagery to be already mapped.
Has such re-development occurred?
