Changeset When Comment

Hi,
something went wrong here. All these ways don't have proper tags and just duplicate the existing road network. Please make sure you only upload objects that are really new to OSM and use the proper tagging.

I reverted this changeset for now, but I saw that there are other edits with the same problem.

Hi,
two of these nodes got a 'N50' tag - is that on purpose or a mistake?

Hi,
the term "rationale" is not common in OSM. I suggest to change the
sac_scale_rationale tag to something like
description:sac_scale

Ah yes, I completly forgot about that one. If you like, feel free to change the node to these tags.

Hallo,
way/368929664

Hi,
thanks for the clarification. The whole "rental" tagging in OSM is really messy.
- we have a general approach to used
"vehicletype:rental" for any kind of vehicles,
- we have "vehicletype_rental", mainly for water vehicles
- and then there is bicycle_rental=*, which doesn't fit to the others, but describes an amenity=bicycle_rental in detail...
- and, last but not least, there is the proposal for proper names for these small electric scooters, which says that "kick_scooter" should refer to the non-powered variant only.

I don't have a good solution to get to one common tagging scheme... In any case, I'd prefer the spelling with an underscore, "kick_scooter", because this is the name used for the vehicle itself (e.g. as an access tag).

Und wenn ich dein "any tags" zitieren darf: "it is recommended to use the tagging given [in the wiki]. Otherwise other users might eventually convert your contributions to fit that scheme."

I reverted this changeset right now.
As far as I know the problem comes from the way how you loaded the data to JOSM. Try to load the nodes directly from the API or Overpass. Don't use other tools for this.

The main issue is: You didn't edit the actual nodes, you uploaded duplicates for all of them.
The only possibility here is to revert the full changeset.

125098839 over 3 years ago

Hi,
you added 6 nodes with a strange "naptan:desp" tag. Should that be 'description'?

114098015 over 3 years ago

At least 550 of these POIs are definitely wrong as they are added to all nodes of buildings.

Google doesn't know anything about "Rangers Insurance" in Dar es Salaam, apart from the usual pages scraping data from OSM.

Hi,
could you point us to the source of this data and the documentation of this import?

Hi,
I guess you hit Ctrl-V accidentally in JOSM, it just puts all the text to tags...

There's a list of new keys appearing in the database, based on Taginfo:

Hi,
what is "the digital property map "? Is this available with a license compatible with OSM? I find it hard to believe that the L417 road runs on private property...

Hi,
it seems something went wrong here - there are 125 objects without any valid tag, e.g. this one:
way/1089532277

Could you have a look?
