They don't flag errors that must be fixed at all cost but highlight possible tagging inaccuracies that might need attention. Keepright doesn't check for "allowed combinations", it only marks uncommon combinations that might be a mistake. a) "lanes" is used hundreds of times on pools, especially in this region. b) Your tool might not flag it, but others do flag it now (that's why I found about your edits) - because of a tag that wasn't used by anybody before. c) lanes are lanes - we also use the lanes tag for e.g. running tracks. There is no confusion because the main tag is a different one. |

- "todo" is marked as deprecated - Wiki says "todo=* has minimal support, usage etc." - "fixme" is used far more often and supported by much more tools - "todo" with a suffix / subkey is almost never used while it's common for "fixme:XY" Sementically, having a 'fixme' tag here doesn't seem wrong to me and it has the additional advantage to be visible in many editors and QA tools. More users aware of the problem means there are better chances to have it corrected. |
