For a 1 lane road, just remove the :lanes and the separation by |.

Did you check the 'isced:level' Wiki page? There is a huge list how terms from different countries relate to the standardized tags. Adding Malta there should be very simple and is the most versatile way you can go.

Please don't invent new tags for common things like schools.
You basically have two options here:

school=primary
school=*

isced:level = 1
isced:level=*

the tag "education_level=primary" is not used in any other place up to now.
We do have many of these:
education_level:primary = yes
education_level:secondary = yes

Or, the better solution: You could use the international and documented key 'isced:level'.

And, these seem to be buildings, so they should have a 'building' tag, but not a 'landuse' (which is for larger areas like city blocks)

you used many tags here that are not in use in any other place. Please use only tags that are described in the OSM Wiki or are available in the presets of your editor.
This is necessary to make sure that every other user can understand the data.

Ja klar. Wenn du den Operator angeben willst, musst du das sogar machen.

Man kann durchaus jeden Container einzeln erfassen - je nachdem ob das "one object" die Sammelstelle oder der Container ist.
Für nötig würde ich es aber nicht halten.
Es gibt "recycling:glass_bottles:colour" um die Glasfarbe zu erfassen. Ist leider nicht dokumentiert, wird aber schon 340 Mal verwendet.

Bei uns gibt's übrigens oft keine getrennten Container für die Farben, sondern z.B. 6 identische Container, die jeweils drei getrennte Fächer haben.
