Hi,
please check this node, it got a strange 'letra' tag:
node/7600686392

Thanks for pointing it out - I have no idea how that happened, it was not my intention. Thanks for fixing it!

Hi,
this changeset (again) created wrong tags:

level = 1 -> this should be 'levels'

nb_garage -> this tag should not appear in OSM, what does it mean?

These cases should be covered by restriction = no_stopping / no_standing / no_parking.

Wiki says that the UK "no waiting" translates to no_parking which seems to make sense.

Maybe you can extend the table for the restriction tag with a hint about UK street markings?

I'm not fully aware of the implications of a double yellow line in the UK, but wouldn't "parking lane is present but stopping is forbidden" be

parking:both = lane
parking:both:restriction = no_stopping
?

Tagging should reflect the legal situation. Physically you can park your car diagonally on a 3 lane motorway... but legally you're not allowed (and shouldn't for obvious reasons)

Hi,
the parking tags you used here are outdated. Please have a look at the current tagging scheme:

Hi,
you added many *:2022 tags here for parking that have been removed (as I understand it).

Actually most of the tags can be removed, just leaving "was:amenity=parking_space" to prevent other users from adding them again?

I tested 3 or 4 and none was working. E.g. https://www.bcmarinetrails.org/map_site/kaikash-creek

Hi,
the tag "horsepowerlimit" is not used in other places. Can you explain what is allowed here?

137308841 over 2 years ago

Hi,
the website links you added here don't work, they just redirect to a sign-up page. And, please don't use description tags for extensive texts - OSM is not the right place for this.

Please improve your QA procedures. I fix errors made by Grab employees almost every day. At least pay attention to warnings and errors shown by the JOSM validator!

Hi,
"surface:colour" is perfectly fine and the version that has more use cases.
I somehow prefer the shorter version (which also exists). I think that 'surface' is redundant - what else could be the color of a path but the surface?

The reason for my edit was a different one: it's "colour" (British spelling) and not "color"

Hi,
you used a couple 'recycling' tags here that are not used in other places. Could you check these? All tags should be in English and preferably only those listed in the wiki should be used. See
amenity=recycling

Hi,
we do have several different tags for checkpoints, e.g. by police. We also have tags for fire lookouts.
But I think there's nothing for this special case.

How about some generic tagging and a description:

amenity = checkpoint (used 200 times in various contexts)
access:conditional = yes @ Jun 15 - Nov 30; no @ Dec 01 - Jun 14
description = ... fire prevention ... guard ... no access
operator = XY

Maybe access=private or permit is better depending on the actual situation

Make sure the node is part of the highway so that a router sees the barrier.

Hi,
you added a couple of hour_on, hour_off tags on this road. Could you describe what they refer to?

124939141 over 2 years ago

Hi,
there are a couple of places with an "N50" tag - was this added by mistake or is it a useful reference number?

137104943 over 2 years ago

Ok.
You don't need to write a full proposal right away. Just head to the tagging section of the OSM forum and describe your idea to see how the general response is:

Außerdem wurde hier von mindestens 40 Gebäuden Duplikate erzeugt, wie auch immer das passiert ist.
