Your script also affected hundreds of kilometers of highways in Nicaragua. They all disappeared.
Please help to clean up. Thank you!

Hi Oscar. I noticed that you added waterways going in the wrong direction to OSM Nicaragua.
Waterway direction always should follow the flow of water.
I corrected them.
Thank you for contributing to OSM Nicaragua!

I'm deleting your building shapes. They are far too big. Please adjust your shapes and match excatly the aerial imagery without combining single buildings into one.

Hi, your building shapes are too large compare to the aerial imagery and they are not squared out. I'm going to delete some of them. Please match exactly the satellite imagery and square buildings out.
Thank you for contribution to OSM Nicaragua.

Hi, I'm deleting your building shapes. They don't match the aerial imagery at all (all to large) and they are not square. Please be more careful. Thank you.

Hi Nakula,

Your building shapes are far bigger than the aerial imagery and some are even duplicates. Also they are not squared out.
Please narrow down your shapes to match exactly the aerial imagery and don't combine several single buildings in one shape.
Thank you.

Hi Telemark,
Please do not change highway classifications unless you know what you are doing. NN-276 is a classified road. The official Nicaraguan classification is highway=tertiary
lanes=2
name=NN-276
ref=NN-276
smoothness=good
source:imagery=BingSat, ESRI, and other open satellite imagery available to OSM as of 2024
is "Colectora Principal".

Hi Anthony,

This building shape doesn't match the real building and it's not squared out. Please map more carefully. Thanks.

Hi Sandip,
Please square out your new building shapes in OSM. In the iD editor it's the "Q" key.
The tag building=house is not ideal. It's generally used for residential buildings in urban neighborhoods. The generic "building=yes" or building=farm is better.
Thank you for contributing to OSM Nicaragua.

Joan,
Your recent building shapes in OSM Nicaragua have several issues:
a) They are far too big and include several single buildings. Please match exactly the building shape on the aerial imagery and don't combine several free standing building.
b) The shapes are not squared. 99% of the buildings are square. Use the square function ("Q" key") in the iD editor and square all your buildings.

Thank you.

I'm going to delete your buildings. They are far bigger than shown on the satellite imagery, sometimes they include two buildings or more and none of the buildings is squared out.

I'm going to delete most of your buildings. They are far bigger than the aerial imagery and they are not squared out.
