Hi, thanks for mapping. I am validating this project.

Unfortunately i found a few issues here.

Please avoid mapping several buildings as one building. Every building must be traced separately.

Also please avoid buildings sharing nodes or else overlapping

This area contains several tall buildings where also part of the walls is visible. In that situation you should trace the roof outline and then move that outline to the building footprint. See for more info: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JAPiGntG6fs

The buildings you mapped are well done as to their location. But pay attention to the squareness of the corners. Always draw buildings as square and precise as you can. Then add the Building feature type. And last, right click it and click the square icon.

Thanks so much for your contribution, Martien, HOT validator.

Hi, thanks for mapping and welcome to HOT. You requested a review of your mappings.

The buildings you mapped are well done as to their location.

Allow me to give some tips on improving your mappings:
- avoid mapping several buildings as one building. Every building must be traced separately. The humanitarian teams use the size of the buildings to estimate the number of people living there.
- avoid buildings sharing nodes or else overlapping, eg with roads
- pay attention to the squareness of the corners. Always draw buildings as square and precise as you can. Then add the Building feature type. And last, right click it and click the square icon.

Hi, thanks for mapping and welcome to HOT. You requested a review of your mappings.

The buildings you mapped are well done as to their location.

Allow me to give some tips on improving your mappings:
- avoid buildings sharing nodes or else overlapping. If buildings need to be adjusted or improved later on, it is much harder to do that if they share nodes with nearby features
- pay attention to the squareness of the corners. Always draw buildings as square and precise as you can. Then add the Building feature type. And last, right click it and click the square icon.

Hi, thanks for mapping. You requested a review of your mappings.

The buildings you mapped are well done as to their location and tracing. But pay attention to the tagging. I notice you tag buildings as house, residential, garage etc. But as remote mappers we cannot exactly know what the function of the building is. So we always tag building=yes. Please stick to that. Unless you have local knowledge of course.

Thanks so much for your contribution, Martien, HOT validator.

Hi, thanks for mapping and welcome to HOT. You requested a review of your mappings.

You tag buildings as landuse=residential. They should be tagged as building=yes though. Please take care of that in your future mappings.

Also please pay attention to the squareness of the corners. Always draw buildings as square and precise as you can. Then add the Building feature type. And last, right click it and click the square icon.
