| 120407548 | over 3 years ago | Hi, welcome to HOTOSM. You requested a review of your mappings. The buildings you mapped here are good as to tracing of the footprint on the imagery. But do not forget to square your buildings after tagging them by pressing ‘q’ on your keyboard. As to the mapped roads: remember that we are only mapping buildings in this project. Humanitarian organizations set the features to be mapped based on their priorities - any time spent mapping other features might slow down the completion of their projects. Keep up the mapping - many thanks! Kind regards, Martien, global validator.

| 120421852 | over 3 years ago | Hi, welcome to HOTOSM. You requested a review of your mappings. The features you mapped here as buildings are probably just patches of earth or trees. Do not worry, this is a common beginners mistake. Watch out for shadows, straight lines or patterns and typical color differences with the surrounding area that indicate buildings. Also do not forget to square your buildings after tagging them by pressing ‘q’ on your keyboard. Keep up the mapping - many thanks! Kind regards, Martien, global validator.

| 120362902 | over 3 years ago | Hi Jenny, welcome to HOTOSM. You requested a review of your mappings. The buildings look good: corners are square and the footprint is traced well on the correct spot. One thing though: you mapped 2 buildings close together having a shared node. This should be prevented, you can do that by holding the Alt key while drawing the building. A request: you upload every mapped buildings as a separate changeset. It is more efficient to upload every 5 to 10 mapped buildings. Preferably when they are located close to another. Thanks, you are doing great. Kind regards, Martien, global validator

| 120371673 | over 3 years ago | An additional request: a few times you mapped several buildings as one. Every building must be traced separately. Zoom in as close as possible to see the outline of the buildings, hit each corner of the building carefully. Look for shadows, open ground, changes in roof color and vegetation to differentiate buildings.

| 120371673 | over 3 years ago | Hi, you requested a review of your mappings. The building are well mapped here. The corners are square and the footprint is well placed. One remark though: you use Bing, while your editor should default load Maxar (also Maxar is prescribed in the instructions). Please pay attention to that in your future mappings. Thanks and keep mapping. Kind regards, Martien, global validator

Please square your buildings after tagging them by pressing ‘q’ on your keyboard. Keep up the mapping - many thanks, Martien, global validator!

But please square your buildings after tagging them by pressing ‘q’ on your keyboard. For the round buildings you should use the 'o' key. Keep up the mapping - many thanks! | 120219015 | over 3 years ago | Hi Amelie, you requested a review of your mappings. They look ok, but please use the prescribed Maxar instead of Bing. Also please square your buildings after tagging them by pressing ‘q’ on your keyboard (except for the circular ones of course). Keep up the mapping - many thanks! | 120068175 | over 3 years ago | Hi, you requested a review here. Well mapped but please square your buildings after tagging them by pressing ‘q’ on your keyboard. Also, you used Bing here instead of Maxar. Do not forget to check when you are finished if your mappings are still in accordance with the prescribed Maxar. For a few buildings that is not the case. Keep up the mapping - many thanks! Kind regards, Martien (global validator)

| 119929264 | over 3 years ago | Hi, you requested a review here. You mapped the buildings well, many thanks for that. You used Bing here besides Maxar. Do not forget to check when you are finished if your mappings are still in accordance with the prescribed Maxar. For a few buildings that is unfortunately not the case. Keep up the mapping - many thanks! Kind regards, Martien (global validator)

| 120168017 | over 3 years ago | Hi, you requested a review here. Well mapped but please square your buildings after tagging them by pressing ‘q’ on your keyboard. Keep also in mind that the imagery is somewhat distorted. Please check out this article on how to handle this: https://learnosm.org/en/coordination/remote-tracing/#satellite-imagery-distorting-the-building-shape -- If you see a building is incorrect, do not delete it. Try to move it to the right location and/or adjust its shape. -- You mapped a grassland here. Remember we are only mapping buildings/roads in this project. This is detailed in the project instructions. Thanks, keep up the good work and keep mapping! Kind regards, Martien (global validator).

| 120106267 | over 3 years ago | Hi Nabillad, you requested a review of your mappings. The buildings look good, corners are square and the footprints are well traced. One remark: you deleted a few buildings and retraced new ones in place of them. It would be better to move these old buildings to the right spot. Deleting features should if possible be avoided. Thanks and please keep mapping.

| 120124688 | over 3 years ago | Hi Jaroslav, welcome to HOTOSM. Great to have you here. You requested a review of your mappings. They are quite well mapped. But please square your buildings after tagging them by pressing ‘q’ on your keyboard. Also this project has a specific feature: it contains quite a lot of tall buildings. Therefor the imagery shows also part of the side of the building. The way to go here is to trace the roofoutline. And then move that to the bottom footprint. Please watch this video for more info: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JAPiGntG6fs.

| 119721268 | over 3 years ago | Hi, you requested a review of your mappings here. Most of the 12 buildings you did here are well mapped. However, 2 of them have odd shapes. It is hard to see (depends also on the quality of your monitor), but if you zoom in enough you can see these are just as rectangular as the others, the one imo being 2 buildings located close to another. So please keep mapping (and with more experience the quality will increase automatically). Regards.

| 119724445 | over 3 years ago | And deleted incorrectly traced roads crossing buildings.

| 119450640 | over 3 years ago | Hi, thanks for mapping and welcome to HOT. The buildings you mapped here are well done as to their location. But pay attention to the squarness of the corners. Always draw buildings as square as you can. Then add the Building feature type. And last, right click it and click the square icon. Please watch these 2 short video for more info:
Thanks so much for your contribution, Martien, HOT validator.
