| 157251283 | about 1 year ago | Hi, thanks for mapping and welcome to HOT. The buildings you mapped are well done as to their location. But pay attention to the squareness of the corners. Always draw buildings as square and precise as you can. Then add the Building feature type. And last, right click it and click the square icon. Please watch these 2 short video for more info:
Thanks so much for your contribution, Martien, HOT validator.

| 157251713 | about 1 year ago | Hi, thanks for mapping and welcome to HOT. The buildings you mapped are well done as to their location. But please be careful, 2 buildings share nodes with a road. Buildings sharing nodes with other features should be avoided. Also a few buildings could be improved by squaring them by pressing ‘q’ on your keyboard. Thanks so much for your contribution, Martien, HOT validator.

| 157197460 | about 1 year ago | Hi, thanks for mapping. You requested a review of your mappings. Your buildings are well mapped. Good location, square corners and precise outline. But watch out for features that look like buildings, but could be in fact courtyards. Eg:
Look for shadows inside the object, color differences. Also double check alternative imageries. Thanks and regards, Martien, HOT validator.

| 157159579 | about 1 year ago | Hi, thanks for mapping. You requested a review of your mappings. Your buildings are well mapped. Good location, square corners and precise outline. One thing though: you mapped a few buildings including the courtyard.
You can check for shadows falling inside the square, color differences, other imagery to better distinguish roof from courtyard. Thanks and regards, Martien, HOT validator.

| 156819696 | about 1 year ago | Hi, thanks for mapping. You requested a review of your mappings. The buildings you mapped are well done as to their location. But pay attention to the squareness of the corners. Always draw buildings as square and precise as you can. The imagery may fool you sometimes in that it seems a building has no square corners. You can use alternative imagery to double check. Also please be cautious with deleting features. If a building is badly traced, do not delete, but fix it instead. You added a layer tag to a few buildings. Probably iD Editor advised you to do so to solve the issue of overlapping features. A layer tag is meant to indicate that an object is located on top of another object, eg a bridge over water. Here however you should follow the other advice iD gives you, namely retrace the building so that it does not overlap. Thanks so much for your contribution, Martien, HOT validator.

| 156160825 | over 1 year ago | Hi Doug, I notice you delete quite a few buildings. And remap them anew. You did a good job at doing that. But it is generally advised to be cautious with deleting. Possibly valuable data can be lost that way. Better use the JOSM Replace Geometry tool (see also osm.wiki/JOSM/Plugins/utilsplugin2). That will retain metadata and history. Thanks and best regards, Martien HOT global validator

| 156681991 | over 1 year ago | Hi, thanks for mapping. You requested a review of your mappings. The buildings you mapped are well done as to their location. Please map a building with a gable roof according to the footprint, not according to the skewed shape of the roof. Also please do not map multiple buildings as one building. Look for shadows, open ground, changes in roof color and vegetation to differentiate buildings. Also be reluctant about mass deleting buildings. There is always a change you unknowingly also delete valuable data. It is advisable to use the Replace Geometry tool as much as possible. See osm.wiki/JOSM/Plugins/utilsplugin2 Thanks so much for your contribution, Martien, HOT validator.

| 156263401 | over 1 year ago | Hi, thanks for mapping. You requested a review of your mappings. Your buildings are well mapped. Good location, square corners and precise outline. You are doing pretty well. Incidentally i see a building with an odd shape where you are maybe mislead by the fact it is covered by a tree. Or where you mapped a small structure on top of a roof instead of the complete roof. Please check out this doc with useful info: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Swwz-ZwM3_YOstqstsmCg1-lNAPbnMLpi1Al-h-2UOQ/edit Thanks and regards, Martien, HOT validator.

| 156280864 | over 1 year ago | Hi, thanks for mapping. You requested a review of your mappings. Your buildings are well mapped. Good location, square corners and precise outline. Incidentally a few building are oversized. Probably because the outline that iD Editor provides obscures the outline visible on the imagery. You can prevent this with the short cut key W, that hides the editor outline. Thanks and regards, Martien, HOT validator.

| 155625950 | over 1 year ago | Hi, thanks for mapping. Many buildings you mapped are well done as to their location. However, you can improve by avoiding mapping several buildings as one building. Every building must be traced separately. You also added layer tags to several buildings that shouldn't be added. Probably because iD Editor incorrectly advised to do so when buildings overlap each other. You should instead move the buildings so that they do not overlap anymore. Thanks so much for your contribution, Martien, HOT validator.

| 153052535 | over 1 year ago | Hi Mercy, you added level tags to waterways. Maybe to prevent conflict with crossing highways (?) Level tags are not used for waterways. Better to use layer instead in combination with bridge or culvert. Or ford, without layer. Btw, the level tag is added to a whole stretch of waterway. Be aware that after removing the tag validation tools will detect incorrect crossings with other features. Best regards, Martien (HOT Global Validator)

| 152486444 | over 1 year ago | Hi, Waterways have been added level tags. I guess to prevent conflicts with crossing roads. The correct way to solve this is adding culvert or bridge combined with the layer tag. Best regards, Martien, HOT validator.
