Alley next to 9th St. Park

It took a little trial & error, but I figured it out.

I will as soon as I learn how to use the editor. When I signed up for an account, there was a reference to making verifiable changes. When Jimmy pointed out the other conflicting references, it really muddied the waters for me.

For what it's worth, I pointed out the error on Google Maps and have been informed that they agree with me and will be changing their map.

So, as soon as I figure out how, I'll make the change.

Jimmy,

Thanks for your comments. I didn't realize the diary was "open" as well. I'm new to the community and appreciate all the help I can get.

You're right, on paper it really isn't all that clear. Also, thanks for pointing out the other mapping resouces available. I wasn't aware of them. The City of Benicia zoning map is very helpful.

I've lived in the neighborhood since 1993 and my wife and I go to 9th St. Park all the time. Both my wife and I and the friends we have in the neighborhood consider that stretch of pavement to be a service road or alley. Also, if someone who lives on that side of the block has a garage sale, it's usually advertised as being in the alley behind West K St.

Another thing that's unusual about the Benicia Zoning map is that there appears to be an alley along the coastline between West 10th and West 11th. There is no pavement there. The lots abut right up to the coast line.

The reason I made the diary entry in the first place was as a reminder to myself to edit the map as soon as I figure out how. Now I'm not so sure about making the edit due to the verification rules.

Any other comments would be most welcome.

Marc
