| 169784436 | 4 months ago | For the avoidance of doubt, tracks like this: way/1396568307#map=19/51.948253/-8.439933&layers=P and this is the track I meant to link to originally: |
| 169784436 | 4 months ago | Hi,
Thanks. |
| 169784436 | 5 months ago | Tracks: you should not be mapping things for routing, much like not mapping for a renderer. Your tracks cannot be verified by someone else as they don't exist on the ground. See osm.wiki/Good_practice#Map_what's_on_the_ground for useful info on this. Please review those you have put in. Hedges vs scrub. It's tricky, and sometimes controversial whether a narrow strip is a barrier=? or area of scrub, trees, etc. I prefer a barrier, but wont push my bias here. |
| 169784436 | 5 months ago | Hi there. I really like much of the mapping you've been doing in this area but have an observation. Many of these tracks you have been putting in around the edge of fields don't appear to be on aerial photography, Bing or ESRI. I was wondering your source for the tracks? Or whether you've been a bit overly keen on interpreting mowing or ploughing marks as tracks? Another was you've marked some boundaries between fields as scrub. I'd expect these to be barrier=hedge as scrub is really for larger areas? Thanks. |
| 167462584 | 6 months ago | Hi, Did you mean to delete the path from near Carn na Criche round the top of the crags of Garbh Choire Mor to Sgurr an Lochan Uaine... Thanks. |
| 152285582 | 8 months ago | Hi,
Thanks. |
| 164131441 | 9 months ago | No bother. It helps to know relations are around, and some editors are set up better to show them.
|
| 164131441 | 9 months ago | Hi. The name "Speyside Way" should not be on the constituent paths. Some paths may have their own names. Speyside Way is already, correctly, a route relation. Please remove the erroneous name tags. |

| 145814835 | 12 months ago | We don't really use fell in Scotland. And whilst I kinda object to our moors having to be tagged as heath, it is heather moorland. So that's the accepted tag. Tundra seems an odd tag to use. It's neither cold, nor high. The closest we have to the general idea of tundra is the Cairngorm plateaux. Anyway, either reconsider, or if you are done with the area I can take it over. I just didn't want to tread on your toes. |

| 143302570 | about 1 year ago | Hi. Can I just say Thanks for some excellent mapping of heath, bog and waterways. Its almost a work of art and as accurate as I can figure.

| 158636165 | about 1 year ago | Good, I think. Not sure how I would have created a duplicate, but it looks fine now you've been through!

| 158833953 | about 1 year ago | Changeset comment meant to be: improve line of paths, add fences, gates, cattle_grid, and other details. |
| 139002464 | over 1 year ago | The only paths we mark are officially adopted trails like the West Highland Way. Anything else, Cape Wrath, Cairngorms Loop, etc, are not marked. Nor will you won't find a signpost or trail blazes to Ben MacDui. We traditionally have expected people to have a map and be competent. I'd not heard of these Rother books before. I'm kind of surprised you have added them as routes when you say they aren't accurate. They don't sound appropriate to add if I'm honest. But I won't delete them. I'll leave you to consider that, maybe. |
| 139002464 | over 1 year ago | Hi. You've added a number of relations with names Cairngorms Trekking 1,2,3. Do you have any sources for the names of these routes, as they look like personal planning? I can't find any other sources.

| 147286136 | almost 2 years ago | Changeset comment typo, the house is marked Pait Lodge. |
| 147286616 | almost 2 years ago | Whoops, hit return by mistake. Changeset comment should read: Mark historical paths as abandoned. I don't believe they should be in OSM at all as unverifiable and non-existent on aerial photography. |
| 142618213 | almost 2 years ago | Hi there.
E.g: way/1215793367#map=15/57.0216/-5.2619 Thanks |
