I have also read about the scam collecting passing fees.

I have found the relation "3 passes trek" (relation/3777292/history#map=15/27.9256/86.8845&layers=Y).
Did you create this relation?
I dont think that the detours and extensions (e.g. Island Peak BC, Amadablam BC, Gokyo Ri, etc) should be part of the trek.
I looks like the log of a personal hiking trip.
