in JOSM I get error that the path cannot have foot=designated and bicycle=designated. I believe this path is used more for hiking bc it's unpaved. Either way, one of the tags should be set to =yes or both of them.

I am new to OSM and I know we aren't supposed to tag for the renderer, but the access=private on the long main trail on the peninsula makes AllTrails and Carto reduce the visibility of the trail and I feel like it might discourage people from using it. Would it make sense to replace the access tag with foot=designated, bicycle=no, dog=no, horse=no, motor_vehicle=forestry ?

Should osmc:symbol be set to orange::orange_stripe? This would match other trails like Appalachian trail that have transparent background for blazes on trees.
