That's totally understandable. iD doesn't visualise lane tags so it is pretty easy to forget about it. I have made necessary changes to Restwell St and all bus routes currently associated with it have been updated. Have a good one.

Hi there, thanks for contributing to OSM project. Regarding the busway you added for Restwell St, it might not be straightforward in iD editor, but the original Restwell St already includes the contraflow bus lane information, so making your addition of the busway a redundant data, and to guideline, an roadway without median separation should be mapped as one way, not two. Also the way direction of the main Restwell St is upside down. Would you mind I correct this issue on your behalf?
Cheers,
Jimmy

Given Westmead Hospital traffic arrangement has been modified for some time due to light rail construction, I doubt whether the stops and route segments are still current. At least a quick comparison with current route and stops from TfNSW (https://transportnsw.info/routes/details/sydney-buses-network/711/23711), the route relation is not "maintained" to the latest.

Hi, I think numerous contributors has advised you that such cosmetic mapping does not help OSM. Your edits likely break routing logics, public transport relations, and will severely affect how others use the data. Mapping in OSM is NOT as decorating road junctions in Cities:Skylines. Please observe agreed conventions for mapping road network to ensure your effort is a positive contribution rather than a burden for another contributor. Thank you.

Hi there, could you provide any prove on the new roads that you create actually exist? - JL

Feel free to delete anything that does not belong to the database. I think it might be a glitch with JOSM dealing with conflicting data and making duplicates of existing features. I tried to remove the duplicates as much as I could before uploading the changeset, but maybe some missed. Thanks in advance.

Hi, unfortunately with a download - edit - upload flow there are some 300-400 warnings pop up in JOSM. Simply because the data quality in South Western Sydney has not been improving for some time and bad quality data are still floating around. Apologise for the inconvenience but maybe will do smaller uploads in the future to limit the issue with overwhelming warnings.

Hi Stephen, sorry for the delay reply as I was away from Sydney. I investigated a bit on rendering with “access=no” tag and was a bit inconclusive on whether the rendering would achieve your expectation. So as an alternative, I believe your way would likely to achieve the visual effects on consumer ends.
Also I did a scout yesterday and could confirm that council only close the vandalised but with fences, while the unaffected parts remain open to the public. According to the sign placed, council says the unaffected parts will continue to open for public use.
In this case, I would personally recommend to confine the construction section to the damaged part with tags combo “highway=construction”+”construction=cycleway”+”access=no” to make sure the path is unroutable, while maintaining your intention. And reinstate the unaffected sections with their normal tags. So that the eastern connection across the creek will continue to provide valid routing.
Feel free to comment my idea.
Cheers, Jimmy

Hi Stephen,
I notice a large section on the M5 Linear path has been turned to "highway=construction". While to my knowledge the bridge across Salt Pan Creek suffered arson recently, CB City Council continues to open much of the boardwalk to visitors. If you have time, could you please verify the extent of the closed section and revert the unaffected sections to their original status? I would suggest changing the access restrictions of the closed part to "access=no" instead of using "highway=construction". Feel free to have a discussion with me.
Many thanks,
Jimmy L.

Hi, I live nearby and that's more my local experience about the change. :) The roundabout was built a few months ago.
