just started today with josm. works great! main focus for me will be placing buildings. im looking forward that xplane will be using OSM data for version 10. before i mainly used google building maker to improve our maps.

Welcome to OSM :-)
Have a look at that page and you will find out that there is already a third party addon, adding OSM to XPlane ;)
