Missing boundaries

Posted by kajord on 20 April 2015 in English.

Several important public land areas in the Inland Northwest are entirely missing from OSM:

  • Idaho Panhandle National Forest (jointly administered Coeur d’Alene, St. Joe, and Kaniksu National Forests)
  • The portion of Colville National Forest east of the Columbia River
  • Salmo-Priest Wilderness

All of these are available from forest service data.

Missing state park boundaries include:

  • Mount Spokane State Park (Washington)
  • Priest Lake State Park (Idaho)
  • Priest Lake State Forest (Idaho; exists only as a point)
Location: Pend Oreille County, Washington, United States

Nine years later, most of these have been added (some by me). Priest Lake State Park and Priest Lake State Forest are still in the same condition (missing and a single point, respectively).
