Train journeys filmed from the conductor cabin

The German train company makes available sceneries filmed on board a train in real time. What seems boring on the first thought reveals itself as a convenient way to check the elements composing an openstreet map.

To answer hkucharek's comment, I haven't seen any copyright mention on the films, nor on the website which describes the podcast. Must the copyright always be explicitly mentioned to be valid?

Sure a nice way to check and beef up the maps, but isn't it a copyright violation if we use such movies to check and tag OSM data?

Hi! As far as I know, German law has always been that copyright need not to be explicitely stated. Since some 20 years, this also holds for countries like the U.S. Have a look at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Copyright#Obtaining_and_enforcing_copyright

Sorry, I can't see any video podcast. How can I get it within Linux?
2nd, I think, it is no copyright infringement, if I only view the video to refreshing my memory about a train journey: Was the bridge before or after the station, the street/river/way on the left or the right side...? a.s.o.
