| 128703405 | about 3 years ago | Alternatively, if motor vehicles in general are allowed on the bus/taxi roads now, you might want to consider removing the access=no tag. |
| 128703405 | about 3 years ago | Hi! You've changed motor_vehicle=private to motor_vehicle=designated. I don't think this is correct - designated means there's an absolute right of way or it's a signposted route. From memory, the only motor vehicles allowed to use these roads are buses and taxis.

| 128783895 | about 3 years ago | I've used the locations of the actual bus stops. Unfortunately I don't have time to download a dataset and check through what it says. |
| 128783895 | about 3 years ago | Could I suggest that, in future, you add the source of your edits to your changesets, please? This can be either in the "Changeset Comment" box, or if you click "Add field", you can select "Sources" then enter something in the box there. Jon |
| 128783895 | about 3 years ago | I've moved the bus stops that exist to the correct locations and removed the non-existent bus stops. |
| 128863659 | about 3 years ago | More changes to come once I have uploaded my footage to Mapillary |
| 128783895 | about 3 years ago | Hello. What was your source for this edit? There are no bus stops at the location you've listed as "Marino Way". Jon |
| 127590228 | about 3 years ago | Oops, missed some sources: aerial imagery, survey |
| 127475881 | about 3 years ago | Thanks! |
| 127475881 | about 3 years ago | Hello Alison. Thanks for getting back to me so quickly. It's great that you are basing your edits on where you have walked - there was one person who used to edit in this area who was using an out-of-date (and dubious) source who did some bad things to that road, hence why I queried it. Could I suggest that, when you save your edit, under the box where you add your comments, in the box next to "Add field", select "Sources" then put in the source? "survey" would probably be the best one for your edits. Jon |

| 126415303 | over 3 years ago | Full changeset comment was:- Resolved notes made from survey 18/09/2022 - mainly paths still under construction and disconnected from other roads/paths (see also changeset/113539998 ) which were tagged as open and pavements tagged with bicycle=yes contrary to signs |
| 124433211 | over 3 years ago | Hi! According to osm.wiki/What3words#what3words_codes_in_OSM we can't add what3words locations to OpenStreetMap. Jon |

| 38607080 | over 3 years ago | Okay - I will probably go past there in the next couple of months, so I will investigate |
| 33209137 | over 3 years ago | I think I am unlikely to go down there again (my current bike is not suitable for those tracks) |
| 123209019 | over 3 years ago | Thanks - that's great. I'm in the process of taking off the "proposed" tagging at the moment. |
| 123196426 | over 3 years ago | Hi! In this changeset, you've tagged Mottisfont Lane, a public highway, with motor_vehicle=designated, foot=yes, bicycle=no (or bicycle=designated on some parts), and horse=no. This road is a designated cycle route - part of the National Cycle Network Route 24. I did not see any restrictions on horse riding. Could you confirm these restrictions on horses and cyclists, please? e.g. way/549217960
See also Mapillary, which does not show any signs with such restrictions:-
On a normal public highway without restrictions, there is no need for motor_vehicle=designated - I would normally expect to see that tag on a byway open to all traffic, or on a motorway. Jon |
