There's a certain logic to that. Still leaves up to the data user to decide what exactly is the significant change that made a mapper decided on the start_date. I would personally try something like start_date:highway for when the first ever highway=* was built, and perhaps start_date:highway:primary=* (or some similar tag indicating a crucial change) for the start date of when it began to function as a primary road.

I kind of understand why you deleted the separate cycleway, but note that the tiny sidewalk on the right of highway 138821779 is not a cycleway. At least, I couldn't find a traffic sign for cyclists riding west from the church

Op de luchtfoto's zien de werken aan de Herestraat er al grotendeels afgerond uit, ik heb aangepast wat ik zag. Misschien weet jij meer - ik vond het wel raar dat normaal de werken pas in 2026 klaar zouden zijn

Neem het gerust nog eens op met de gemeente. Ik vind zelfs niet direct mijn mail hierover terug. Je kan ook eens kijken wat Trage Wegen over dit punt zegt.

Met wegenregister neem ik aan? Weet dat die heel vaak gewoon opritten toch een straatnaam geeft, dit is vaak fout. Alleszins is ze in de praktijk niet toegankelijk, aan de westkant kan je op mapillary duidelijk een gesloten poort zien.

Als dit adres juist is, dan staat het op de verkeerde locatie. Ik wis voorlopig alvast het adres
