Lake Arenal Route 926

Posted by joknecht on 14 February 2011 in English.

Just returned from Costa Rica and the only major problem with the mapping is around Lake Arenal on Route 926. The mapping and GPS show that 926 continues along the south western rim of the lake and intersects 142 near Tilaran. The road actually ends at the Rancho Margot, and you have to backtrack to 142 near La Fortuna. The people at Rancho Margot say they get several cars a week using GPS trying to follow the non existent route.

Maybe yoou can add markers at OpenStreetBugs to clarify which parts of the road are non-existing
