The Admiralty station relations should be merged (the station is contiguous with no fare gates between the sets of platforms, which are linked by escalators and lifts); I'm not sure what the tagging is for the station structure (building=public_transport?) but you should move the station building tags to the station node, and move the node closer to the centre of the station, probably along Rodney Street.

oh. You did edit the station building, but you should have transferred the tags over to the station and/or stop area objects (and possibly added a building=yes tag to it).

Hi, please be careful with making these. There is already a station building mapped (way/248971549), and there are two stop position nodes which are stacked one above the other. You may want to edit areas like this in JOSM (https://josm.openstreetmap.de) instead of iD, because the data is relatively dense.

I've reverted some of your changesets because they also introduced tagging errors such as landuse tags on nodes.

Is the entire station enclosed in a building? As far as I'm aware the platforms are mostly under canopies and the tracks aren't covered, so the platforms should be tagged with covered=yes with only the actual building structure on the north side being tagged with building=yes.

The situation for Macau is a bit different since English is spoken "widely" (per Wikipedia) and more than Portuguese, but the English name is more often than not identical to the Portuguese name so roughly the same rules can apply. Where the English name differs I am not so sure since the OSM Wiki page indicates that only the Portuguese and Chinese names should be in name=*, but this would probably be wrong since the official language matters less than what is spoken by the actual people who live there.

Most Hongkongers can speak both English and Chinese (and some can't speak Chinese); see also https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Code-switching_in_Hong_Kong. Printed maps of Hong Kong often use both English and Chinese.

Please avoid copying information from Hong Kong government maps and other copyrighted maps as much as possible. This edit might be okay (I'm not sure) but it would be much better to do this sort of thing based on survey or satellite imagery.

Hi, please be a bit careful with adding pathways. Some of the ones you added were already tagged as sidewalks to the adjacent roads, and some of them don't actually exist.

Please don't use Bing imagery without fixing the offset, it's not particularly reliable and tends to be warped a lot. Use Strava/DigitalGlobe/Esri.

*Welcome back, sorry.

Welcome to OpenStreetMap! Note that paths like this one – way/540207157 – should be marked as bridges with a layer tag so they appear correctly. (Split the way so that only the part which is a bridge is tagged as a bridge.)

The other trunk road connected to a highway=service, 14A on route 7, also uses highway=service as the connector and not highway=trunk_link, although maybe this is an aesthetic thing.

The imagery is probably out of date here and the layout keeps changing due to construction, so best to do it based on survey.

Hong Kong and Macau use separate tagging conventions to the Mainland. Please do not remove English and Portuguese from name=* in the SARs.

Sorry about that, I'll add the comment on the correct changeset.

hi, this is probably not a lighthouse (possibly the iD Chinese translation is not good?). this is probably just a floating lump of metal in the inlet with a light strapped on it.

oh, I didn't know this was actually a parking lot. never mind.

53065700 about 8 years ago

you could say that for any field in the middle of nowhere or even a little-used road, but would you tag them with amenity=parking?
