about 6 years ago | Hi Bruce, you left the shop tag on this construction site, do you know what is here now?
about 6 years ago | Hello 👋 Just wondering why in this chamge set you have used military=yes on a way. I'm not familiar with that particular road. the Wiki says this tage is orohibited on ways osm.wiki/Item:Q427. Not looking to correct you just asking for curiousity.
about 6 years ago | Thanks for the quick fix. I'll remember in future.
about 6 years ago | Hi BlueDreamer, You've made some impressive impact in Invergordon since you joined. Just to let you know this does not need to be named 'abandoned warehouse' just tagged abandoned:builiding=warehouse, check out the article on the lifecycle prefix abandoned=*:
about 6 years ago | Started to update the tags on these buildings, but there are so many. Is the land use tag on a building wrong, or just a peculiar style?
over 6 years ago | Thanks, I'll remember that in future.
over 6 years ago | Hello Ben, Thanks for you addition to the map, it looks like you didn't give your added point a 'tag'. I have added a 'shop=yes' tag. Could you help by adding what type of shop this is? James
over 6 years ago | Hello User_5359, Thanks for correcting my errors. Can you explain what you mean, I've only used Level0 a few times and clearly took an unnecessary risk here with such a wide changeset.
over 6 years ago | Hi Jerry, Thanks for the detailed feedback, I'll take on all your hints. The MapRoulette single changeset thing makes a lot of sense. It does seem that I'm the perfect individual to be on the wrong side of the iD preset controversy; confident enough to to go ahead and make changes but new enough to think that the developers of the /edit part of the project should be making it possible for people to apply suggested edits in good faith and not do anything controversial. The healthcare thing in particular takes me by surprise, It seems very careless on iD's part. I know better now. I don't follow your Vespucci/HSBC example are you suggesting I should not make any edits to an object if I'm not going to make 'all' the edits? James
over 6 years ago | Do you mean the building=commercial tag? Probably because I either didn't notice, or didnt have the confidence to undo someone's work. Thanks for fixing it.
over 6 years ago | Hi eddie, it looks like you traced a lot of buildings here but did not select the building tag, so you may have been disappointing that they never turned up on the map. I've now tagged them as buildings, maybe have a look over them and check I've identified them correctly.
over 6 years ago | Thanks for the correction, and the swift revert. I'll look out for that one in future. Using barrier=entrance to mark a gap does feel a little unnatural, but I see the sense in it.
over 6 years ago | Thanks for the corrections, the kerb one stood out to me as something that would need to be surveyed so I quickly stopped using that one. Surprised about the Starbucks Coffee's, I'll try contacting the person who started the Maproullette challenge.
over 6 years ago | okay more like 5-10 metres
over 6 years ago | Removed one-way tag
over 6 years ago | Clearly not very well, saw the initial sign and jumped to a conclusion. Thanks for the correction.
over 6 years ago | Is the whole building the Jed Eye Office? If it's not the Jed Eye should probably be added as a node/point.
almost 7 years ago | Particularly as OsmAnd does not allow moving of nodes, only creation and modification AFAIK. Have OsmAnd been made aware of this?
almost 7 years ago | Thanks Chris, I left the name of the ground and removed the name of the team (#66745366), I think it could be re-added as a node. I don't think stadium is the right tag as it certainly does not have substantial seating.
about 7 years ago | Thanks for the correction eric_, change now made
