OSM tags are by standard in english language. I googled that word and seems like is donburi? Than it shouldn't be a diet, but a cuisine value, like cuisine=donburi.

Secondo me questa correzione è in meglio, innanzitutto si rispetta uno standard, inoltre se si comincia a creare un tag per ogni sito diventa una giungla. Mi sembra la maggioranza sia d'accordo, Mueschel ("it's not necessary"), Andrea Musuruane ("è meglio non utilizzare questo tag quando sono disponibili alternative più specifiche"), Mannivu (che li ritiene inutili), e io (che mi sono già espresso in due changeset).

Dato che c'è un consenso diffuso sull'argomento nei prossimi giorni procedo ad allineare i nuovi tag a quelli già esistenti.

Wide us in relations, but not in Italy though. Most of the place=municipality tags to boundaries in Italy were added mostly by one user (the one you reverted one month ago with "Resolving vandalism" and that got 6 blocks in a month). At the moment there's only one place=municipality added to a relation (relation/41025) in Italy, and was added two days ago (I will fix it soon though).

Also we talked about "comuni sparsi" (as Monrupino is) in the mailing list: https://lists.openstreetmap.org/pipermail/talk-it/2021-November/073080.html
Here everyone agreed about adding the "comune sparso" place as a node (even though somebody said it should be a "village" and somebody a "municipality")

And about place tag to boundaries more recently: https://lists.openstreetmap.org/pipermail/talk-it/2021-December/073213.html (and the two user who replied as far agree about not using place tags on boundaries).

Based on what we said on the mailing list, I still believe that revert the deletion of the place=municipality node of Monrupino and adding it as "label" member (as all others "comuni sparsi" in Italy are tagged) is the best choice.

The correct tag is "name:etymology:wikidata", you are using "name:wikidata:etymology", can you fix it?

non ti è chiarissimo il funzionamento di OpenStreetMap. OSM è un database, non c'è nulla da "vedere". Quando "vedi" qualcosa è grazie a un renderer, e non si mappa per il renderer: osm.wiki/IT:Tagging_for_the_renderer

Yes but note=* values are used to communicate something to other fellow mappers, this information doesn't reach the final user.

I would use:

or restore

name=Bocchetta del Nebion
name:it=Bocchetta del Nebbione
and then flag the Osmose issue as "false positive", Osmose isn't always right and we should not change correct tagging to please Osmose (in my opinion), especially when we have lot of different "naming tags" to choose from :)
