I heard about the project from LUG Radio podcast. I do not yet have a logger, but parts of my local area have been mapped and I am enjoying tagging some of the local attractions. If there is someone in the central Indiana area who would like to take me under their wing, i would appreciate the help getting off the ground.

Streets in the USA are taken from a government site. They have a very low quality so you have to MOVE many nodes and streets with Potlatch into their right position, which is indicated on the aerial photo. Some NEW streets are not included so you have to ADD them manually. Furthermore, this government site does not show any footpaths, cycleways, parking lots and private service roads. These ways need to be added by volunteers.
There is a lot of work to do, especially in the USA. I have visited this country only once, but I can't help you with local knowledge.

Thanks FK270673. I noticed that the nodes were way off. I am looking forward to fixing as much as I can.
