Hello, and thanks for your contribution to OpenStreetMap! Some feedback: First, the changeset comment should describe what you changed or added, not just why—see osm.wiki/Good_changeset_comments for more info. Second, it's considered good practice to keep the covered area of your changeset small, and you can do that by saving your changes in one location before moving on to another. Finally, tennis courts should be tagged with "leisure=pitch"+"https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Tag:sport=tennis", not as a building or road. See the tag documentation here: leisure=pitch

Thanks for adding a changeset description. However I still don't think "place=*" is an appropriate tag for these features. The tag is reserved for human settlements, like towns and cities; as well as large geographic features, like islands. In the context of settlements, the tag is meant to be used on a point, as a label, rather than a boundary. See place=* . I'd encourage you to reach out to one of the many OSM communities—mailing list, wiki, forum, IRC, Slack, Discord…—to get an agreement on how to tag these. Here's a full list: osm.wiki/Contact_channels

Please use a more descriptive changeset comment, including what you changed - see osm.wiki/Good_changeset_comments . boundary=administrative+admin_level=6 is inappropriate for a fire district, since that tag is for counties, which already tile California - see osm.wiki/United_States_admin_level .

Vacant buildings should be tagged as buildings, not landuse.

Thanks for your contribution. Even though the business doesn't operate here anymore, lots of the tags it had, like the address, are useful and shouldn't be removed.

Please use the changeset comment to describe what you changed, for example "added a football field." For more information, see this page: osm.wiki/Good_changeset_comments

Thanks!

It looks like this road doesn't exist because the area is under construction. It would be helpful if you also removed the demolished buildings and marked the area as a construction area; otherwise the edit looks unfinished.

Please save your work in one area before moving to another, so that the changeset bounding box is not large.

way/978368378 Please draw straight roads as straight roads and circular roads as circular, not some scribble. If this was traced directly from a GPX track, that is unacceptable.

Please make sure to save your changes in one area before moving on to another, so that the bounding box doesn't cover irrelevant areas. Also, try to use a changeset comment that describes what you changed, not just where you got the data.

I've reverted this change in changeset/125242164. I'm sorry your work had to go to waste.

OpenStreetMap is a community project, not your personal database. Sweeping changes like this NEED to be done with community approval. You may think that the import process is unnecessarily bureaucratic—I agree!—but ignoring it is not the path to fixing it. You've been told this multiple times. If you'd actually like to contribute to the community, you could help the group that is putting together a proper import plan: osm.wiki/HIFLD
