almost 6 years ago | I think the Greek road authorities have some responsibility in not taking road numbers seriously. This is why there is so much confusion, especially with a user taking JayCBR's numbering idea seriously.
almost 6 years ago | Hi woodpeck, since I emailed the DWG, I found evidence that the edits may be fictitious: see https://forum.openstreetmap.org/viewtopic.php?pid=777657#p777657 for details.
almost 6 years ago | Answered via DM.
almost 6 years ago | Not again… the source was supposed to be Bing Aerial Imagery.
about 6 years ago | To be honest, I do not know why you are worried about a 4-year old edit that reflected the situation at the time, with clear evidence of devolution: if any station on the Shenfield line had started serving GA or GWR trains again, then add National Rail back into the network tag. You don't need to ask me.
about 6 years ago | No, not 2818, 2018!
about 6 years ago | If I recall correctly, TfL does not use the National Rail symbol for stations that only serve TfL services. There is a clear tendency for TfL to set their services (Overground and Crossrail) apart from the rest of National Rail. Of course, we expected back in 2015 that Crossrail would open in 2818.
over 6 years ago | Hi, I'm not an OpenStreetMap moderator, so if you have concerns about jepee’s edits please leave a comment in the changeset that you linked to, and if you get no answer from jepee, ask the DWG for assistance.
over 6 years ago | Yeah, that was the editor going haywire. I fixed it now.
over 6 years ago | Although many rural roads in Greece are suitable for 4x4s, the current consensus is to connect all villages and hamlets with a tertiary road, using surface=* and smoothness=* to describe the condition. Also, why are you not answering my concerns at changeset/66443000 and changeset/66443316, and also leave no meangful changeset comments at @Δημήτρης Μπαλτουμάς/history
over 6 years ago | What is the source for the erotic shop? It might be a typo or something.
over 6 years ago | I think it is a bit too early to call Free and Real a village right now, even though it is clearly nothing like Scientology. I think it is more of a large-scale eco-focused community project at this time.
over 6 years ago | Roundabouts and their connectors use normal road types, and not links. JOSM’s claim that the roundabout should be secondary is incorrect, because it connects two roads of a higher classification.
over 6 years ago | way/222895188 Should not be a motorway. it should be secondary link because that is the only way for traffic from the side road to get to Kymis.
over 6 years ago | This changeset has been reverted in accordance with the Prespa Agreement, which came into force on 8 February 2019. The country is now commonly known as North Macedonia. If I recall correctly, OpenStreetMap takes a dim view of political disputes, and that OpenStreetMap does not want to be a battleground for any political disputes, including the Macedonian naming dispute. Please take any political disputes to the General section of the NationStates Forum, and please maintain civility there. ;-)
over 6 years ago | UPDATE: We talked it through and it's all fine. I apologised to the editor for sounding harsh but the Crimea dispute had been really frustrating since OSM does not have to pick a side.
over 6 years ago | Hello again, when comparing this version of the Aegean Sea relation with the previous version, it appears that Sanwer removed the Macedonian names. In absence of a good explanation, I see it to be politically motivated. Since OSM is not a political battleground, this could be grounds for a DWG report unless the user can explain the removal. | 65478333 | over 6 years ago | I'm sorry if I sounded harsh again, I am not really coping well any more. I feel that the disputes in the Greek community is getting too much for me. BTW, I had to fix Koropi South junction because of another illogical motorway link: osm.org/#map=17/37.89954/23.90513 — Maybe you could create a small task to fix the motorway links in Greece.
over 6 years ago | I am not happy with this edit: you don't understand that the A62 ends just before the u-turn. Partly reverted by changeset/69724815.
over 6 years ago | Yes, the links on the middle of a lower-class road, on the grade-separated interchange, do not have motorway restrictions.
