| Newbie thoughts | On Ubuntu, you can install JOSM just by installing the josm package and a version of Java (e. g. sun-java6-jre). Works quite nicely here. :) For gpsbabel, you could probably use a webinterface (http://www.gpsvisualizer.com/gpsbabel/) instead of the shell. |
