Der Fall steht im o.g. Wiki leider nicht explizit drin, hatte ich aber vor 'ner Zeit mal so gesucht.

Hi, it looks Wiki needs a clarification here. See what is stated here:
highway=track
"If the way is not wide enough for a two-track vehicle, it should be tagged as highway=path."
In
highway=path
it is not mentioned, but should be when that is the way.
