Nenhuma dessas vias de ligação tem sinalização indicando esses nomes fictícios. A saída 524 já estava mapeada e se refere somente ao pequeno segmento próximo da rua Giuseppe Mattea.

Há placas ao longo do corredor indicando que o limite de velocidade é de 30km/h. O mesmo ocorre em todos os demais corredores exceto na Terceira Perimetral (onde um trecho é 40km/h e outro é 60km´/h) e na avenida Cruzeiro do sul (onde é 40km/h). Além da sinalização, a prefeitura recentemente permitiu o trânsito de táxis nos corredores contanto que respeitem o limite baixo de 30km/h. O mapa 6 é de ocupação. A classificação viária no OSM deve ser feita aproximando as classes funcionais (osm.wiki/Brazil/Classifica%C3%A7%C3%A3o_das_rodovias_do_Brasil) que constam no mapa 10 (osm.wiki/Iju%C3%AD/Sistema_Vi%C3%A1rio#Santa_Rosa). Mas a opinião geral da comunidade é de que a classificação oficial tem que ser avaliada também conforme as condições reais no entorno (ex.: sinalização viária), pois muitas vezes o que foi planejado ainda não foi completamente executado.

If you go to Settings and choose "Navigable by boat", these fairways show up, probably because of the access tags. I just requested full support for fairways in the issue tracker, let's see. As for the Plata basin, years ago I added navigability details to the Uruguay River between Argentina and Rio Grande do Sul based on data from the Brazilian navy (osm.wiki/Brazil/RS/Hidrovias#Refer%C3%AAncias), but further north I left it for the local mappers - who unfortunately never took an interest.

Hi. Although the main route along Lagoa dos Patos is not a centerline, so it is not waterway=flowline, some of the branching routes fit both definitions, as they are both tributaries (waterway=flowline) and navigable routes (waterway=fairway). I mapped them based on GPS tracks and depth maps, so I think they are currently closer to waterway=fairway. Since waterway=flowline preferentially represents centerlines, I think it is intended for illustration or minimal routing when there is little information available about a body of water.

Using waterway=flowline for tributaries is an emerging mapping practice in North America (e.g. Delaware Bay and Lake Ontario), but not in Europe (e.g. Wadden Sea). It may be best to wait and see if this is adopted globally, neither are supported by apps yet, right? There are also some inconsistencies in this recent adoption, for example, waterway=flowline is used in Lake Ontario for navigable routes along the edge of the lake, away from the lake's centerline, while in Delaware Bay there are two overlapping lines, one mapped as waterway=flowline, and another as waterway=fairway.

I've unblocked the ways that I could confirm to be ok. Most of the ~1k ways still blocked in Rio Grande do Sul (down from ~6.5k at the flood's peak) are probably open now with varying degrees of trafficability (some of the unpaved may be are prone to getting bogged down due to new soft soil), but to ensure verifiability (osm.wiki/Verifiability), one should not map (block or unblock) ways based only on assumptions. I was unblocking them as I found local photos or aerial footage, since word of mouth (even by authorities) has always been quite unreliable/imprecise here. It may be "safe" (few negative practical consequences in the case of a wrong assumption) to unblock local ways (residential, unclassified, tertiary) where the main ways (secondary, primary, trunk) are known to be ok already. I would be conservative near the river around Lajeado downstream to Vila Mariante which was the most affected area. While we do have an official sources for the conditions of federal and state roads (reliable but often with up to 1km of imprecision), few municipalities are reporting the state of their municipal roads and streets in the detail we need.

The flood took place in early May 2024. What is the date of the GPS traces and the recent Esri World Imagery you mentioned? Can I have a look? I think Strava does not report the date of its data, right?

Interessante, vou tentar decifrar essa planilha. Ela é pública? 22/5 já faz um tempo, pode estar meio desatualizada. Quanto mais exatos e menores os trechos bloqueados no OSM (contanto que não fiquem faltando os bloqueios, especialmente os sem previsão de liberação que podem persistir por muito tempo), melhor pra navegação na região.
