about 6 years ago | This changeset has been reverted fully or in part by changeset/75182956 where the changeset comment is: undo deletion of ways, no idea about the rest of the changes but boundary is wrong. in memoriam Karel Gott, na shledanou
about 6 years ago | This changeset has been reverted fully or in part by changeset/75182081 where the changeset comment is: i see no justification for the absurd claim a cemetery was razed and is now an industrial construction site. reverting until irrefutable concrete proof is offered
about 6 years ago | This changeset has been reverted fully or in part by changeset/75181498 where the changeset comment is: so-called private property is no reason to delete anything, nor to vandalise a cemetery and destroy the lovingly-traced work of others. you are deleting far too many valid existing mapped items that belong on the map.
about 6 years ago | not just remove the advert copy, but being co-located with a differently housenumbered starbucks, as i try to determine how misplaced a distant spam note is, it's nowhere in the area so i'm deleting it - no interest in fixing paid seo entries and no interest in having such inaccurate entries that would require me the better part of an hour to make a detour.
about 6 years ago | This changeset has been reverted fully or in part by changeset/75171526 where the changeset comment is: undelete a service drive clearly visible on all imageries. you are deleting far too many valid existing mapped items that belong on the map.
about 6 years ago | your proposed construction also includes four houses. can you point to some news article announcing this? i can find nothing of that sort. also an upgrade is not represented for a cemetery by turning it into a construction site as that will almost never reflect the reality of respect for the buried, particularly here. it remains a cemetery during any upkeep to the trees, paths, or whatever, an appeal for help with this the only mention i could find.
about 6 years ago | why did you change a cemetery into a construction site? i believe this changeset is deliberate vandalism and should be reverted, there having been no follow-up. the so-called ``building'' at way/633146530/history is obviously totally bogus as well.
| 75159344 | about 6 years ago | if i'm seeing right, you also deleted one of two amazon-added service drives in almost the same position. did you report it to them? i've been noting some workflow issues that they should improve...

about 6 years ago | This changeset has been reverted fully or in part by changeset/75069407 where the changeset comment is: this is the village node and should only include the name of the village, and nothing more in the name.
about 6 years ago | to be precise, the multiple changesets i reverted were limited to the continental untied snakes and i badly need a new kezboard. the huge number of FIXMEs should be a clue that this is not a trivial change. and i stick behind my stance that when i write FIXME, the best change i'll accept would be to convert it into a grammatically correct, but invalid for OSM syntax, FIX ME. so, not sure why i bother.
about 6 years ago | > message length phobics don't think this is a problem here yet. i know it's Notes issue I've encountered repeatedly (do i have a problem? i think so) but as far as i know, changeset comments are for me limited by TCP issues, so it is up to you to guess if this my eighth attempt to post this. or my fifteenth. OR MY 233rd. GIMME A BREAK.
about 6 years ago | hallo honourable hadam hant, you are correct, andy townsend (SomeoneElse) from the dwg did comment on one of the multiple changesets that in my rough, very rough estimate, affected some 40'000 FIXMEs across the continental 48 of the us of a. no attempts i could see were made in other countries. my guess of 40'000 XXX FIXMEs must not be taken as gospel, it is a gut feeling from my reverts, and should probably be revised downward by an order of magnitude or three. the recent edits by this user have been automated octothorpe-prefixing of colour values. i pointed out one error that would be fixed by a second pass, and i have been racking me brane to come up with a false positive, as most colours by name seem to use letters outside the hex range. this user's changes i did not revert mixed FIXMEs with other changes, so the count of FIXMEs in the us of a will be somewhat greater. well, would have been. i won't mention i got into a flamewar with another noted osm contributor about my multiple reverts. i wish to think it ended amicably, like when i got the paraphrased response that i was having fun with osm. and i really wish i can continue with this, that osm as it is remains a joy to contribute to. wait, me papa told me never to use a preposition to end a sentence with. oh gawd, i've once again devolved into me typical state of floral rubbish. i wish to be removed from this curse. cheers
about 6 years ago | hoi ganesh, thanks for the cleanup. a few hours earlier, i cleaned up after the iD-bug overlapping way that i mentioned earlier in XXX FIXME this was pointed out in a now-lengthy Notes discussion to be read at XXX FIXME, and my fix probably means the amazon-added turn restriction that user gpserror was trying to fix may be broken as noted in the Note. if you could verify this against your own driver/delivery notes, that would be great. a hint, for the ways around way/722415246 (yay, this one has its own open tab) i understand there exists a subcategory of service drives as drive_through or drive_thru or something. perhaps that is more fitting here? i am guessing the building (unmapped?) may be a bank, as junk-food amenities i've seen have typically a single aisle. now that link is out of the way, the FIXME above link to the Note should be note/1926655 i'm also guessing the turn restriction can be inferred from node/107564717 although the way numbers reflect newer changes (hint, i've been too long in osm when i can recognise new ways, nodes, and the 10xxx recent milestone relations by number. also Notes approaching the two-million mark if the troll trolling the ukraine continues to spew hundreds of rubbish notes daily as usual) either your team is a bunch of nightowls like myself, or insomniacs :-) PST8PDT on my system tells me i'm decades away from what i grew to expect for timezones on my system (was also a BSD) but i take it UTC times are roughly 16h to 01h. no, that can't be right. 06h to oh i give up. 08h or the 07h33 of these changesets. i've got clocks with local time, sept.1993 aol-time, and an xdaliclock with UTC, but for the life of me i can't figure out time differences other than knowing i can expect specific insomniacs to be active during certain times of my day. thanks for the info. i made my edit during your normal working hours but without conflict.
about 6 years ago | actually, cows show up great. i want to point you at a particular imagery where you could count the flies accompanying them, but i've searched in vain with the realisation the overflights were made at the end of winter when the meadows were barren and the cows were still in the barn. i'll keep looking on that layer though. mebbe i'll find a free-range chicken. i actually know where to see summertime cows on the old bing overflights over europe where the identical imagery at z19 was available from multiple providers and i'd mark a cow from one and switch to the others to attempt to determine the conflicting metre-like offset plaguing the different imageries. what my search in vain today uncovered is that farmland is for crops, with now a weird yellow rendering (i much preferred the earlier choice of a colour reminding me of a field of barley awaiting harvest, rippling in the breeze). areas of pasture for grazing of free-range critters are better categorised in osm as meadows, and as i gaze at the map to the right i'm not seeing obvious farmland but probable meadow tagging, so i'm not sure why i bother to comment, given the lack of links to mappable cows (that normally tend to move, except when they're glaring at me as i wander by) that i was so certain i could offer. i probably shouldn't have bothered to wake up.
